@Izaan ur rehman Fab you obviously meant, but you are right that he had decent vocal talent, albeit not exactly Grammy material like the real singers were though. But I bet he maybe could have been somewhat close to that if they gave him a chance to fine tune, and perfect things at first, but probably would be hard pressed to say the same for Rob however. Even the Rob & Fab album which they both DID actually sing on mainly had Fab doing the lead vocals, while Rob was mainly reduced to rapping, and doing a background voice on it (which he did somewhat okay with to an extent), pretty much.

But singing still is what mostly makes songs what they are, which they just couldn't cut it with at the time, even if I'm sure they could have been made at least decent if the producer allowed them to train, and fine-tune things with that as time went on. Even then, they still wouldn't have been able to match the golden vocals the real musicians had though.

Good voice. Funny that their lip-syncing was such a big scandal back then, but today we have some of the top acts and grammy winners who would be lost without electronic embellishment, canned backing and excessive use of autotune.

Because of the producer and the media making it news, these two guys were punished even though they weren't there first to lips synch and were tricked into doing it

@Izaan ur rehman Fab you obviously meant, but you are right that he had decent vocal talent, albeit not exactly Grammy material like the real singers were though. But I bet he maybe could have been somewhat close to that if they gave him a chance to fine tune, and perfect things at first, but probably would be hard pressed to say the same for Rob however. Even the Rob & Fab album which they both DID actually sing on mainly had Fab doing the lead vocals, while Rob was mainly reduced to rapping, and doing a background voice on it (which he did somewhat okay with to an extent), pretty much.

But singing still is what mostly makes songs what they are, which they just couldn't cut it with at the time, even if I'm sure they could have been made at least decent if the producer allowed them to train, and fine-tune things with that as time went on. Even then, they still wouldn't have been able to match the golden vocals the real musicians had though.
@Izaan ur rehman And even though Fab has redeemed himself, while proving to be a capable singer in the process, he's also never again going to reach the pinnacle of success, which he had with the Milli Vanilli days, nor will he ever get a crowd of 50,000 people to watch him sing, which he knows too.

Actually Rob wasn't suicidal at the time of his death. He was simply drinking too much and mixed it with prescription drugs and accidentally died.😔🙏🏾

Good voice. Funny that their lip-syncing was such a big scandal back then, but today we have some of the top acts and grammy winners who would be lost without electronic embellishment, canned backing and excessive use of autotune.
It wasn’t lip syncing it was not their voices at all... different people sang the songs. Very different to lip syncing or using auto tune etc.
@@Dribbler1 Correct, lip-syncing is a different animal, however as it relates to overall authenticity many current performers offer in terms of raw talent the equivalent of heavily processed food, and forget about hitting the stage live with just musicians, amplification, and minimal effects.
@@theHAL9000 ...and let's not forget C+C Music factory did the same thing on some of their hits as well and got sued by the original singer... but the blowback wasn't as big as these guys. It's too bad these guys had to be the "face" of the lip-syncing scandal ... but then again, if it wasn't them, it would've been someone else.

Boney M did the same thing - the lead singer didnt sing the song. According to the 90's sucks podcast, the producer didn't want the Milli and Vanilli to sing on the next album, so he did a press conference that they didn't singer songs even though ppl already knew and didn't care. Because of the producer and the media making it news, these two guys were punished even though they weren't there first to lips synch and were tricked into doing it
