Great review, thanks. The rubber tracks and moulded on fenders are a big no for me but the biggest disappointment is that there are better King Tiger kits out there for the same price or less.
Yeaaah, this is one is more for scratch-building and dioramas as I saw some modelers doing interesting stuff with it :)
This looks like a nice kit. Once piece tracks are not idea of course but if they have enough detail I am o.k. with them. The kit seems somewhat simplified in some regards and some of the detail looked a little soft. The fire extinguisher for example looked only fair in my opinion. The barrel geometry also looks off too much of a step down from the mantlet. Thanks for sharing Viktor!

Does the suspension really work? Can I model suspension moves?
I think it will require some tweaking here and there :)
nice looking kit overall, I have to say my preference is for the rubber tracks as I like to install motors and RC controls into some of my models and with plastic tracks this option is not available :)
But if I were to have plastic tracks I prefer those individual click together links so the track is still workable. The plastic tracks I don't like are those multiple links molded into long strips.
If I were making tank kits I would include both in the kit as having the option is always nice :)
Also nice to see a little more time spent on the decal options ;)

Вроде норм модель, но траки однозначно нужно сборные. Жаль ICM их не делает(
Непонятно зачем он нужен. в нижнем сегменте есть неплохой перепак Дракона от Звезды + кинг от Академа. В верхнем сегменте отличный Дракон + скоро выйдут КТ от Менг и Такома.
ну он лучше своих ценовых альтернатив, по крайней мере, перепак нужно будет дорабатывать примерно так же
Маска пушки отлита вместе с пушкой + дульный тормоз отлит вместе с пушкой и все это располовинино в доль, корпус отлит вместе с подкрылками, зубцы ведущей звездочки как у тамии 70-х, резиновые траки, прозрачных деталей нет, сеточек фтд нет, на дворе 2016 год, АйСиЭм - вы серьезно?
ну травления в наборах ICM никогда и не было. :)

It's not a bad attempt from them, but the problem is aiming for the cheaper end of the market at around £25 - £30 and then having a two-half gun barrel AND mantlet in one, and those rubber tracks, means that replacing those would bump the kit up at least another £20 if you are lucky. If they'd of even just done link and length styrene tracks like they put in for the turret, and did the gun barrel separate from the mantle, it would still be a cheap kit + a £7 gun barrel.
As it is now, it looks like a cheap kit that also requires £20 - £30 of extra gun barrel and tracks to make it look good enough, little bit disappointed in this one.

Plus, will someone launch extras, like a metal gun barrel and such, anytime soon ...?

I've seen a few gun barrels but I'd like to be sure they're compatible before ordering one...
Just check connection points. I would recommend RB Model products.
What's the point of this kit? 20 year old Tamiya Kingtiger is better. Dragon Kingtiger is a million times better.

ну интерьер - не такой крупный минус, как и травление. В звездовском примерно такие же косяки, так что посоперничать сможет, я думаю.

если добавить травло и траки - будет дороже Такома...
Ну таком пока ещё непонятен по качеству. Сам я его не щупал
