Very quick, concise and to the point, very good video. So many people today take 10-15 minutes to explain and show what you just did, correctly, in under two minutes.
This was the ONLY video (apart from another that led me to you) that helped me fix my apartment unit toilet! it DID have corrosion, little black rubber corrosion balls in the filter. Thank you thank you thank you!!!!!! :)
Oh, the one on my daughter’s toilet was beyond these procedures. I could not undo to water line to the tank. So, I had to cut it off with a saws-all, then I was able to remove the tank filler. Took about 5hr , due to not having tools at her home. And my struggles with the close quarters, knee replacements don’t allow kneeling much. Go buy the flush filler, flapper, adjust everything, and pick all my tools. But IT FILLS REALLY WELL.👍🏻 11/26/2024
if i take hose from the overflow tube and have it shoot directly into the tank it fills fast but very little water goes into the toilet bowl. its only when the the hose is in the overflow tube properly that it takes forever
Yes, it all depends on your toilet and how much water fills the bowl without water from the fill tube. Some bowls fill completely without it and some don’t.
I just replaced my older Fluidmaster valves with new models (400H) and immediately noticed that the new valves take twice as long to fill the tank. The issue is that on the current models, the fill water only enters the tank thru the small rubber tube. On my older model fluidmaster units, the water also enters the tank at the bottom of the fill tube as well as the hose. I'm don't understand why they made this change.
Sorry... I don't have an answer for you. I can time the refill of my 2 toilets, but they have 1.6-gallon tanks. This will not help you with your larger tanks.

Should take 1-2 minutes to refill if operating correctly.

Thanks! The longer the video… the more ads that can be shown. That’s not my focus. 😎
@@HacksbyDad Exactly, was aware of this and it drives me nuts…….thus my compliments to you.
To the point and simple directions, literally took me 5 minutes and got the issue sorted. Thank you!

Hello sir How long is too long to refill ? Do you have any standard of time by their tank size ? 🤔
Sorry... I don't have an answer for you. I can time the refill of my 2 toilets, but they have 1.6-gallon tanks. This will not help you with your larger tanks.

My toilet is not made up this way. It seems to be an older model.
