What has been working for me is: 1. Taking a daily multivitamin and supplements like turmeric, fish oil, ACV gummies, etc I had to do a lot of research to find what combination worked for me and made sure things didn't overlap. 2. I try to eat around 1350 cals per day. I keep track using my fitness pal amd again it took research to find what I would be able to handle. 3. Have something low cal but filling for lunch. I have oatmeal or a salad. If I'm hungry but don't know what to eat I have those as my go to. I call em my "sweatpants of food" b/c they're so easy to make. 4. Eat slowly, drink plenty of water, plain tea, crystal light, no food after 8pm bed at 10pm. 5. Walk at least 30 mins per day, since I'm an emotional eater I drink plain tea or chew gum or go for a walk to help deal with my stress instead of turning to food.
I really hope you realize that 1350 calories a day is NOT a sustainable amount... The average adult needs about 2000 calories to maintain their weight. Even if you are smaller, less than 1700 calories is not recommended, but 1350 is simply far too little. It's fine for a short time if you're trying to lose weight, but again, not sustainable. When you're in such an extreme calorie deficit for too long, your metabolism actually slows down because you're not providing enough energy to the body and so it adapts. The moment you start eating more, you gain weight. Just keep that in mind. Don't do this for too long. Btw, this is comming from someone who is in eating disorder recovery and my own doctor told me that 1300 calories is WAY too little.

instead of watching this long and copy-and-paste video that every other person makes, here’s what you should do. Eat less. That’s it. Be on a caloric deficit, to know how much of a deficit you should be on, go on a calorie calculator and it’ll tell you what type of deficit to be on. Move more, it’s so important to go out, walk, talk, run, play a sport, go yk go to a gym. But this next one kinda goes along with the second point, but get a life!!! going out and talking to others will distract you from hunger, I’ve noticed if I’m home alone I will get extra hungry and eat just cause I’m bored, so go out and have fun. If ur only in a calorie deficit and not working out, ur metabolism will keep lowering until you gain all the weight back because it’s unssustainable. I made that mistake and I eventually went down to about 1000 calories a day (I went from BMI 19 to 18 in 2 months). Now I exercise every day and I’m toned: I eat 1800-2300 calories a day and my BMI is 17.6. Even if my weight’s not that different, I look way skinnier because my muscles give me a tighter toned look (if that makes sense). Edit: I lost my period doing this so everyone, don’t take exercise or calories to extremes. Just be intuitive with movement and eating and focus on SELF CARE (sleeping, stretching, having fun, pursuing hobbies, eating foods that make ur body feel good)

Same, i recovered from bed and im happier then ever, im in my ideal weight, track cals and listen my body. Everything possible + i don't obsess over food anymore, its only needed when im hungry
I don't know if it's just me, but I think improving your mental health and relationship with food really helps. Allowing yourself to eat whatever you want but moderately will make you feel happier without that "guilt", plus if you're mental condition is good you won't even feel guilty about it, instead of thinking you have to eat smaller or eat less, choose smarter options and listen to your body if your full. You always have next time to eat it again anyway.

But then, when having no mental health (or, more honestly, very little) problems, it's quite comfortable to stop eating some things like sugar, cause you feel better and it's just a feeling and a knowledge you can have, that makes you feel better, not like restricting yourself. I eat sugar occasionally, when I want to try a new dessert while in another country, or when my sister cooked smth and I wanna compliment her. But apart from such situations, i just don't wanna chicolate etc., cause once you might come to a feeling, that sugar is not as tasty as you hoped (probably it happens after a few weeks without sugar. honestly the taste itself feels different). Nobody HAS to feel this way, but I wanted to write that you CAN feel such things, so people never felt that would know about the possibility. wish luv ❤
For the first time, I have come across someone who is honest like a transparent clean water. Most ppl try to misguide you by fake showing that they eat average to moderate and still manage to stay this thin and lean. But believe me I had to work and starve so hard to become 48 kg from 89 kg. for a long time i tried to do endless fasts and just eat oatmeal. for two months I fasted for 30 hours between each meal and I only ate a 200ml glass of milk and oat. it actually worked out well, but then i entered a phase of multiple days of compulsive eating and gained back what I've lost. watching this video really gave me hope on losing weight again. that's it, I'm cutting all the sugar and the oil! thanks for the tips, legend 💋

ok coming from girl people often referred as a "stick" my bmi was around 14-16 (severely underweight) yet i used to eat junk food and anything i wamted but i was very picky eater. this was exactly the same with my dad until he got married and my mom stuffed tons of food in his mouth (lol😂) now my bmi os around 17-19(which is healthy) but still i eat the same proportion of food i used to eat before corona but now i gained over 10 kgs. i dunno what happened with me

Eat below maintenance. Keep in mind that the lower you set your calorie goal and the longer you keep with the caloric crash the more resistant your metabolism will be. You will need to exercice 200kcal~500kcal per day either moderate pace cardio or low pace exercices such as walking. Walking 10k~15k steps a day can make it easier and not only help keep your metabolic rate but also make sure you are sufficiently under your maintenance level. I am 1.79m with current weight of 62kg at 1500kcal/2 days (1 meal every 48 hours, the rest of the 2 days are fueled with black coffee). I am currently losing 0,5kg/week so I think my methods are working. Coffee drinking and/or smoking can help with killing appetite.

Remember guys to eat enough (good) calories summed with how much you lost them. Because I can tell, eating much less than you burn during the day is not healthy (if you are not dieting and taken much information about it). I was not dieting, just did not realise to eat more (got more physical job wich meaned I burned lots of calories) and felt angry and tired alllll the time. No matter how much I slept. So yea eat your veggies and good gealthy food balanced to your burning.

i was accidentally skinny last year too bc of too much stress and laziness. i ate like i was a beggar. there was enough food but i eat in my room so i was too lazy to get another serving and eat another food. my mom was so damn mad at me when I came to live with her again she fed me so much food i gained my past weight again 💀
She’s not wrong. Eat less carbs, make the carbs you do eat whole grains and vegetables. Eat whole food sources of protein. Eat healthy fats in moderation. Eat fruit in moderation. 😊
I feel like it depends on your body type for instance my cousin can eat a lot but he’s so skinny me if I eat a lot I can gain weight easily. although I am also skinny I don’t restrict myself on anything I pretty much eat whatever I want the only thing I do is I exercise a lot and make sure that I eat small portions.✨
i became skinny by starving, not the best way. I just, even if I was miserably hungry for actual food, instead of eating food. I just either distracted myself pushed through it, OR drank something yummy or ate candy or a small snack. I was in school most of the time so I didnt eat in school, only like a couple fried but never finished, and when i was home, I used to just be on my phone and do anything but eat. I regret it, but Im still the same and im trying to eat more
This comment comes completely from a place of love, im not trying to hate on anyone, but I am just concerned because she doesn't eat anymore than 1,000 maybe 1,200 kals. That is an extreme calorie deficit even if she was trying to loose more weight, which she doesn't need to. An average woman needs 2,000 kals, and eating this little will permanently slow down and ruin her metabolism and health. The food she shows is great, but she needs to eat more. I am just worried about people watching this and trying to copy as it could trigger an eating disorder in my opinion, especially the extreme all in view of cutting out sugar and fried food. Please just check your personal calorie requirements using an online tool and plan healthy meals around this number of calories, allowing some room for the odd treat because this kind of diet isn't sustainable even if it works, not to mention the damaging effects on her health. Take meal suggestions from this video, that's great, but please eat more for the reasons discussed.
I have lost around 2 stone recently, at a rate of around half a pound to a pound a week, so I can promise you that you don't need to restrict this much to loose weight. It is all about patience and you will eventually see progress if your putting in the effort in moderation!
This!!! My opinion as someone with an ED&gastric diseases (in treatment) Is that it’s one thing to make an effort to avoid things to be *healthy* but thoughts around food/self image fuelled by the desire of looking skinny is damaging, as is promoting it even saying “but now I wanna gain weight” right after. A lot of this I also recently found out that being in a calorie deficit fuelled by my “light eating” habits has weakened all of the muscles supporting my bones and now I’m in constant pain doing daily activities. It doesn’t pay to strive for image rather than health. Thank you for putting that out there!
Now I know why I have always been slim. I only eat when hungry and in moderation. I do eat sugar through ice cream and I avoid drink like coca-cola etc.

BTW your citrus water in the morning makes the acid in your tummy work a little more, so when you drink a lot of coffee you dont feel as bad as you would without it. But you need your nutritions anyway so please eat a little more xD

@@onedirection4410 from someone who’s been both, try to strive for healthy as a state of being, rather than skinny as a size. I’ve been fat shamed and now get skinny shamed, my bones don’t get enough support from my muscle, I’m always tired/pale and aching, headachey etc. Just saying be careful you don’t over do it because as much as being over weight comes with physical issues, so does being skinny the only difference is people don’t sympathise with your physical because they think you have the “ideal” body.
Friendly reminder to take this nutrition advice with a grain of salt. Diets don't work and our bodies need a balance of whole grains , healthy fats (including sunflower oil) and proteins to work. Read Intuitive Eating for more help

I have been dancing 3 times a week for 3h each time, playing volleyball since I saw in 1st grade. I often walk and not use any transport, I eatnkind of healthy, don't drink feezy drinks and don't eat junk food and sleep well BUT I'm still not skinny enough. I am not fat but I am not skinny either and I just want to be skinny.
I have been in a calorie deficit for 3 years which is 1500 calories, sometimes 1300 calories it helps to maintain my weight because I don't exercise alot sometimes I go to 1200 calories but never under that because you put your body in starvation mode but I eat what I want thats under 1500 and this has worked a very long time, I'm a size 6-8 uk with curves 🙂

My friend is a skinny legend as well. Her diet consists of oats with milk for breakfast, donut & about redbulls at school, dinner at home (often pizza or mcdonalds) & a banana for a snack. HOW? She is around 48-49kgs. I dont know how it's possible. Does any other skinny legend have the answer, if you do, pls help😭
I mean the things she eats don't sound a lot. The morning oat meal could be only 200kcal and donut and red bull like 400kcal and the pizza or mcdonalds anything from 400 to 1400kcal on average and banana is like 90kcal. So adding up that is just 1090 ~ 2090kcal so not a lot at all. And sounds like you are teens so she may still be growing which makes people use more energy also you didn't say how tall she is.

What has been working for me is:
1. Taking a daily multivitamin and supplements like turmeric, fish oil, ACV gummies, etc
I had to do a lot of research to find what combination worked for me and made sure things didn't overlap.
2. I try to eat around 1350 cals per day. I keep track using my fitness pal amd again it took research to find what I would be able to handle.
3. Have something low cal but filling for lunch. I have oatmeal or a salad. If I'm hungry but don't know what to eat I have those as my go to. I call em my "sweatpants of food" b/c they're so easy to make.
4. Eat slowly, drink plenty of water, plain tea, crystal light, no food after 8pm bed at 10pm.
5. Walk at least 30 mins per day, since I'm an emotional eater I drink plain tea or chew gum or go for a walk to help deal with my stress instead of turning to food.
Would this work with a 300 to 500 cal with no vitamin or 15 minutes workouts?
I really hope you realize that 1350 calories a day is NOT a sustainable amount... The average adult needs about 2000 calories to maintain their weight. Even if you are smaller, less than 1700 calories is not recommended, but 1350 is simply far too little. It's fine for a short time if you're trying to lose weight, but again, not sustainable. When you're in such an extreme calorie deficit for too long, your metabolism actually slows down because you're not providing enough energy to the body and so it adapts. The moment you start eating more, you gain weight. Just keep that in mind. Don't do this for too long. Btw, this is comming from someone who is in eating disorder recovery and my own doctor told me that 1300 calories is WAY too little.

instead of watching this long and copy-and-paste video that every other person makes, here’s what you should do. Eat less. That’s it. Be on a caloric deficit, to know how much of a deficit you should be on, go on a calorie calculator and it’ll tell you what type of deficit to be on. Move more, it’s so important to go out, walk, talk, run, play a sport, go yk go to a gym. But this next one kinda goes along with the second point, but get a life!!! going out and talking to others will distract you from hunger, I’ve noticed if I’m home alone I will get extra hungry and eat just cause I’m bored, so go out and have fun. Hope this helps!

If ur only in a calorie deficit and not working out, ur metabolism will keep lowering until you gain all the weight back because it’s unssustainable. I made that mistake and I eventually went down to about 1000 calories a day (I went from BMI 19 to 18 in 2 months). Now I exercise every day and I’m toned: I eat 1800-2300 calories a day and my BMI is 17.6. Even if my weight’s not that different, I look way skinnier because my muscles give me a tighter toned look (if that makes sense).
Edit: I lost my period doing this so everyone, don’t take exercise or calories to extremes. Just be intuitive with movement and eating and focus on SELF CARE (sleeping, stretching, having fun, pursuing hobbies, eating foods that make ur body feel good)

I don't know if it's just me, but I think improving your mental health and relationship with food really helps. Allowing yourself to eat whatever you want but moderately will make you feel happier without that "guilt", plus if you're mental condition is good you won't even feel guilty about it, instead of thinking you have to eat smaller or eat less, choose smarter options and listen to your body if your full. You always have next time to eat it again anyway.

yeah, 100%. But then, when having no mental health (or, more honestly, very little) problems, it's quite comfortable to stop eating some things like sugar, cause you feel better and it's just a feeling and a knowledge you can have, that makes you feel better, not like restricting yourself. I eat sugar occasionally, when I want to try a new dessert while in another country, or when my sister cooked smth and I wanna compliment her. But apart from such situations, i just don't wanna chicolate etc., cause once you might come to a feeling, that sugar is not as tasty as you hoped (probably it happens after a few weeks without sugar. honestly the taste itself feels different).
Nobody HAS to feel this way, but I wanted to write that you CAN feel such things, so people never felt that would know about the possibility.

For the first time, I have come across someone who is honest like a transparent clean water. Most ppl try to misguide you by fake showing that they eat average to moderate and still manage to stay this thin and lean. But believe me I had to work and starve so hard to become 48 kg from 89 kg. for a long time i tried to do endless fasts and just eat oatmeal. for two months I fasted for 30 hours between each meal and I only ate a 200ml glass of milk and oat. it actually worked out well, but then i entered a phase of multiple days of compulsive eating and gained back what I've lost. watching this video really gave me hope on losing weight again. that's it, I'm cutting all the sugar and the oil! thanks for the tips, legend 💋

my bmi was around 14-16 (severely underweight) yet i used to eat junk food and anything i wamted but i was very picky eater. this was exactly the same with my dad until he got married and my mom stuffed tons of food in his mouth (lol😂) now my bmi os around 17-19(which is healthy) but still i eat the same proportion of food i used to eat before corona but now i gained over 10 kgs. i dunno what happened with me

Bit of exercise that you enjoy, the best sleep you can get, drink water and eat healthy foods but not always because everything in moderation (even moderation). Eat below maintenance. Keep in mind that the lower you set your calorie goal and the longer you keep with the caloric crash the more resistant your metabolism will be. You will need to exercice 200kcal~500kcal per day either moderate pace cardio or low pace exercices such as walking. Walking 10k~15k steps a day can make it easier and not only help keep your metabolic rate but also make sure you are sufficiently under your maintenance level. I am 1.79m with current weight of 62kg at 1500kcal/2 days (1 meal every 48 hours, the rest of the 2 days are fueled with black coffee). I am currently losing 0,5kg/week so I think my methods are working. Coffee drinking and/or smoking can help with killing appetite.

Remember guys to eat enough (good) calories summed with how much you lost them. Because I can tell, eating much less than you burn during the day is not healthy (if you are not dieting and taken much information about it). I was not dieting, just did not realise to eat more (got more physical job wich meaned I burned lots of calories) and felt angry and tired alllll the time. No matter how much I slept. So yea eat your veggies and good gealthy food balanced to your burning.

i was accidentally skinny last year too bc of too much stress and laziness. i ate like i was a beggar. there was enough food but i eat in my room so i was too lazy to get another serving and eat another food. my mom was so damn mad at me when I came to live with her again she fed me so much food i gained my past weight again 💀

i became skinny by starving, not the best way. I just, even if I was miserably hungry for actual food, instead of eating food. I just either distracted myself pushed through it, OR drank something yummy or ate candy or a small snack. I was in school most of the time so I didnt eat in school, only like a couple fried but never finished, and when i was home, I used to just be on my phone and do anything but eat. I regret it, but Im still the same and im trying to eat more

This comment comes completely from a place of love, im not trying to hate on anyone, but I am just concerned because she doesn't eat anymore than 1,000 maybe 1,200 kals. That is an extreme calorie deficit even if she was trying to loose more weight, which she doesn't need to. An average woman needs 2,000 kals, and eating this little will permanently slow down and ruin her metabolism and health. The food she shows is great, but she needs to eat more. I am just worried about people watching this and trying to copy as it could trigger an eating disorder in my opinion, especially the extreme all in view of cutting out sugar and fried food. Please just check your personal calorie requirements using an online tool and plan healthy meals around this number of calories, allowing some room for the odd treat because this kind of diet isn't sustainable even if it works, not to mention the damaging effects on her health. Take meal suggestions from this video, that's great, but please eat more for the reasons discussed.
I have lost around 2 stone recently, at a rate of around half a pound to a pound a week, so I can promise you that you don't need to restrict this much to loose weight. It is all about patience and you will eventually see progress if your putting in the effort in moderation!
This!!! My opinion as someone with an ED&gastric diseases (in treatment) Is that it’s one thing to make an effort to avoid things to be *healthy* but thoughts around food/self image fuelled by the desire of looking skinny is damaging, as is promoting it even saying “but now I wanna gain weight” right after. A lot of this I also recently found out that being in a calorie deficit fuelled by my “light eating” habits has weakened all of the muscles supporting my bones and now I’m in constant pain doing daily activities. It doesn’t pay to strive for image rather than health. Thank you for putting that out there!

Now I know why I have always been slim. I only eat when hungry and in moderation. I do eat sugar through ice cream and I avoid drink like coca-cola etc.
The way to stay skinny or get there is to stay away from processed sugar !!! That truly is the only answer.

Awesome, I hope you can learn something from him that works for you. I am actually surprised on how little you eat, dont you feel hungry all the time? BTW your citrus water in the morning makes the acid in your tummy work a little more, so when you drink a lot of coffee you dont feel as bad as you would without it. But you need your nutritions anyway so please eat a little more xD

I’ve been fat shamed and now get skinny shamed, my bones don’t get enough support from my muscle, I’m always tired/pale and aching, headachey etc. Just saying be careful you don’t over do it because as much as being over weight comes with physical issues, so does being skinny the only difference is people don’t sympathise with your physical because they think you have the “ideal” body.

To be honest, I dont rememeber when I started seeing results but I just remember seeing them pretty quickly, like in. 1-2 weeks:) You just in general start feeling better from the inside and thats one of the biggest things that I have noticed and later on you start seeing them on your body:)

I have been dancing 3 times a week for 3h each time, playing volleyball since I saw in 1st grade. I often walk and not use any transport, I eatnkind of healthy, don't drink feezy drinks and don't eat junk food and sleep well BUT I'm still not skinny enough. I am not fat but I am not skinny either and I just want to be skinny.

I have been in a calorie deficit for 3 years which is 1500 calories, sometimes 1300 calories it helps to maintain my weight because I don't exercise alot sometimes I go to 1200 calories but never under that because you put your body in starvation mode but I eat what I want thats under 1500 and this has worked a very long time, I'm a size 6-8 uk with curves 🙂

My friend is a skinny legend as well. Her diet consists of oats with milk for breakfast, donut & about redbulls at school, dinner at home (often pizza or mcdonalds) & a banana for a snack. HOW? She is around 48-49kgs. I dont know how it's possible. Does any other skinny legend have the answer, if you do, pls help😭
I mean the things she eats don't sound a lot. The morning oat meal could be only 200kcal and donut and red bull like 400kcal and the pizza or mcdonalds anything from 400 to 1400kcal on average and banana is like 90kcal. So adding up that is just 1090 ~ 2090kcal so not a lot at all. And sounds like you are teens so she may still be growing which makes people use more energy also you didn't say how tall she is.
So basically Keto and yes it works. i lost 22lbs easy. Keto helps with inflammation.
