I don't remember my highest score because I haven't gone to the parks in a while except when me and my family went to volcano bay around 3 or 4 years ago but, my high score might be around 100,000 or around 200,000 points. Update went in November 2021 and in September 2022 and my score was around 100,500 maybe a bit more but below 200,000.
The thing I don't like about space ranger spin is that it's literally taped to the viechle. You can only move it up down and a bit to the left and right but the last time I went like five or six years ago I believe you can rotate the viechles but still you need to rotate and shoot or have one person rotate and the other shoot.
I MAXED OUT!!! Last time I was there, I managed my lifelong dream of 999,999 in MIB! If you turn around at the end and shoot your own exhaust port on the blue line, not the middle, you can really rack up the points.
I adore MIB - I genuinely prefer it to a lot of Universal's more recent additions. The whole schtick with the World's Fair being used as a front for the MIB training academy (bookended at the end of the ride, too) with the cardboard cutout aliens at the beginning is fantastic, and what's more 3D than going THROUGH the actual sets - no 3D glasses needed!
This is the best thing I've heard, I love hearing from the creative director about his ride, like it's amazing to hear all the little things he squeezed into every corner, 🎵 HOTDOG🎵 they could dismantle it as a ride and make it a walkthrough and I'd take selfies with every alien
I’m slowly getting through this, but just wanted to say this is so fun. I love getting to hear the creative people go through their process and choices of how these rides are made.
I actually got to ride Men in Black Alien Attack back in December when me, my mom, my brother, and my poppy (grandpa) went to Universal in Orlando. Me and my poppy had to sit in the back seat of our ride vehicle which honestly was a bad idea for me since I am 5’0 and I couldn’t reach the feet rest so every time we would spin my legs were dangling almost out of the vehicle.
I really enjoyed listening to this podcast... I felt like I was apart of the conversation and you asked all the questions I would have wanted to know. I wish universal had a d23 type expo to have conversations and panels for us to have these conversations

What's your highest score on MiB? Have you reached all 9's yet?
Yes! 999,999 is my best! It was a lifelong dream for me and I did it in August.

I don't remember, I wasn't paying that much attention to the score. but it was low I'm pretty sure. (I've only ridden it two or three times.)
Still haven't hit that 900k, but I keep a picture on my phone of every time I beat my own high score 😅
I'm halfway there at 500,600, no red button
I hit 905,xxx I was mighty proud but I’m still a way off. Haven’t been in 2 years, hopefully going back this year.
Space Ranger Spin: Who are you?
Alien Attack: I'm you, but stronger

Men In Black: Alien Attack is one of my favorite rides at Universal! I'm a huge fan of MIB

Absolutely love this episode! All the information stories I had never known about the ride. It was wonderful
That was both a fun and insightful interview. thank you.

Excellent timing. Just booked my first ever solo Universal trip and definitely looking forward to riding MIB.
Hope you have fun!!
So glad you documented the history of the ride. Always glad when you can debunk the "facts" on Wikipedia as a bonus. Thanks for posting this.
Me: *takes notes*
Lol it never gets old

Hope this attraction never gets removed, but honestly what are it’s odds of staying untouched in USF?
One of the reasons I’ve always wanted to go to Orlando
I'd spend hours on this thing if I could. When they first had Universal Express at the hotels I must have gone at least 15 times in a row.
