Worth every penny it’s so comprehensive it’s awesome - and ironically I was just reviewing the bishop double attack (at the 38 minute mark) that just wins a pawn this morning!! Epic
Your jobava and channel have helped boost my elo 200 points in a few months. I’m now 1540. It’s nice to have an opening I feel confident and in control and not enormous theory. I’ve always played the Caro so this channel has really helped my game. Thanks
I just bought the course yesterday! Hope it will help me I just learned how to play 5 weeks ago. I am up to 800 so far I play the Caro and the Italian for black and white. I started studying some TH-cam couple days ago and won 16 straight right now =D. The Italian is so fun but I love his “pawn storm” looks fun my checkmates are usually boring
You always bring a smile to my face with the goofy jokes and the way you make things look simple. I'm relatively new to chess (playing since sept. 2023) and I have learned so much since I watch your educational videos. I went from 200 elo blitz to 550 getting consistent 80-95% acc games with the Caro (64% winrate) and the Jobava (71% winrate). I'm aiming to get to a 1000 soon :D You're a good teacher and I appreciate all the effort you put in your videos, I watch them all dude :) Cheers, hope you (and the people who read this) have a wonderful day!
I'm 62 years old woman and I like your videos a lot and the way you express yourself : it is very refreshing and energizing. Congratulations on the content (I am a big fan of the Caro K opening). Keep up with good work. All the best from France.
My games have improved immensely as a result of your jobava and caro kann videos. Both online and at Club level. It feels great to have a very clear game plan, for example in the pawn storm. And some games really feel like 'free ELO'. Thank you so much!
So grateful for game 1. Found myself consistently in bad positions in the Jobava even though opponent locked in their bishop. Alex made the move order so easy to understand. Thank you Alex 🙏🏼
Thanks for the reminder to break with e4 in the Jobava setup. I forgot and played Nce2 instead a few times- anyway really enjoyed the new video, you’re mad funny too as usual.
@@AlexBanzea there’s actually an option to pick up play from a starting position in the analysis tab during the lichess game review, so you just switch colors, with the position straight from a game
I suspect he doesn't show the games where the person is 1000 or more points lower manages to make some decent moves at the end when he is flagged. If a 1500 player goes up against a 500 player...she/he too could make all the moves in a minute and win 99% of the time.
I am so glad I found Rxg3+ (after you said there's a combo in the position, but still) at 18:10 ! Tactical vision is definitely improving while watching your channel
Absolutely wild that according to the computer it's a draw after the greek gift sac in the first game. After QG4, F5 forces the queen back and black can force a perpetual because the alternative for white is losing a piece.
If you want to improve in chess, I recommend this channel and I claim that it helped me a lot. However, I do not agree that only 2 openings are enough, I think that it is also necessary to introduce the king Indian defense, which is also very thoroughly covered by Bogdan Banzea. Thank you Bogdan .
Brother i am from india 🇮🇳 i loved to play queens gambit .Its a humble request to make 3 hour video explaining all variations and sidelines too. My current rating is 1332. Your 3 hour caro kann video is the only reason to climb 1300❤
Hi! I like your videos about caro-kann and jobava london very much. I learned a lot thanks to them. I often compare my game with what you did on your ChessMasterTouching account and where did I steer off but many times opponents do stuff that they never did in any of your games. I also had some games where I managed to play at over 90% accuracy thanks to following your guidelines besides myself being barely 1000 at blitz. I bet my opponents thought I was cheating. btw how do you like the new review?
Alex!! always love your videos❤. I think you should do a video about a new meta against the caro kann. nf3 with d3. idk how to play against it and its very annoying
Hi Alex, I love your Caro-Kann course ! .... Here is a question: ... at 49:57 ... can White play 10. Qg3 ? ... In the course, the White Queen is on d1 and the White Bishop is on e2 (and then f3) So after ... Bd4, the Queen cannot get to g3, and the White e-pawn or b-pawn is lost.
I'm pretty sure they can... if we take the pawn on e5, they get the better of the trades. If we take on b7, they take on g7 and we both win rooks but then they are grabbing more on the way out I'm pretty sure
Hello I was wondering about information about your coaching or would you say your courses would provide an adequate amount of info that can take place of coaching sessions??
I thing the pawn storm is really hard to convert to winning position for someone who is not able to have 90+ accuracy. I am around 1300 and my win rate when i try pawn storm is less as 20%. I realy dont like this idea at all.
Hi Alex, What happens when I play the Caro 1. e4 c6 2. Nc3 d5 3.exd5 This line is not covered in your Chessable course. Since obviously I will need to retake but then what to do next? Do you have a sample game?
