That's so great to hear! I initially was supposed to buy a refurbished unit cos it was more cost efficient, but chanced upon a huge sale so I was able to snatch a new one haha. I've had my Kindle for a few months and it's been life-changing to say the least. I've turned from a casual reader to an intentional one. I hope it brings you joy as much it does to me!! :)
@@sagge520 hmm that is weird! Can you try converting the epub to mobi format? Use Calibre! It’s a free app software. And make sure your email is recognized/authorized address to accept docs in your amazon account.
For me, yes! The new features are not a deal breaker for me considering that my main objective was to develop a reading habit. So i guess it depends with how you want to use the device in the long run.
Hello! I love your question. So in terms of my own reasons, ang pinagpilian ko ay ang Kindle Basic model and this Paperwhite. Hindi ko na kinonsider yung Oasis kasi beyond budget haha. Biggest difference ng Basic and Paperwhite na naging decision tool ko ay yung resolution and waterproofing. Naisip ko since gagamitin ko sya everyday for reading, might as well get the better and higher resolution (mas low res si Basic). Waterproof naman is applicable for me kasi I used to travel a lot. So once pwede na ulit mag-travel, naisip ko maganda rin syang feature in the long run. Ayun! Hope this helps!! :)

Hello! I don't personally use the unlimited access so sorry I don't know how to weigh in on this comment. Pero hindi po hassle for me. I found a lot of hacks on how to acquire e-books and convert them to mobi (kindle format) and store in my device. So many free e-books available online! :)
