I'm kind of new to coding for skills, and was wondering if you could give me tips on what kind of sensors to use so the route stays consistent? With my current code it always goes off track and messes up the route with just and inertial sensor.
we use 2 tracking wheels and 1 inertial for the odometry. i definitely think the tracking wheels help track movements without the issues of wheel slippage or like undershooting or wtv. we also use a distance sensor to reset the odom halfway through the run but i would worry about that after you get odom implemented
@@yeetingdon1880 Programming resources are available for odom such as lemlib and jar (check documentation for odom explanations). The hardest part imo abt odom is the mechanical side of it. Make sure your pods are built well (no canti and no single'd 2" wheels).
Dude who are you, you make comments on videos that are so ignorant and unintelligent, like I’m not trying to be mean but you don’t even do VRC it seems
I forgot i had 1.5x speed on an was so confused how the bot was accelerating so fast lmao
Just bc of this comment, I must now watch it in 1.5x speed

@@michaelphan-vh3bv do u by any chance have any good resources to learn odom?
@@yeetingdon1880 i read the 5225a odom documentation to understand the math and concept and looked at jar and lemlib to understand how its implemented
