In case you want to use the bowguns with mouse and keyboard i will share my setup. 1. In the Esc menu go to Options > Input Options in this menu turn Mouse Settings ON, put Aiming Camera type in type 2, put Lock On Mode in Type 2 and follow the video for the rest of the settings in this menu. 2. Still in this menu go into Key Setting in here you can remap your buttons. In the Common Actions section check what is the Reset Camera button for later, now go to the Mouse menu, in here change Movement Type to Attack Type this will allow you to move your camera left and right with your mouse. 3. Now click in the Left Click section you will see a menu with a lot of options they represent actions on a controller using Classic Type monster hunter 1 style, what is important here is that you select the option with a 2 in it, thats the shoot bullets action, now click on the Right Click side, right above the option with number 1 there will be 4 options with japanese words with the same size pick the top most of these four thats the ,using the video terminology, equivalent of main attack+side attack, now leave and save the changes. 4. Now go in any quest to test, if done right you can now shoot with left click and perform a melee attack with right click, now press and hold your Reset Camera button till the crosshair appear tap the button to aiming, now every time you want to aim you use your camera reset button. Notes: that only allows you to use third person aiming, you will still have to press a button on your keyboard if you want to move your camera vertically outside of aiming. If you're curious in the menu where you got the shoot bullets action the option with number 1 is the aim action, it's really bad only allowing you use your mouse to move your camera in first person aiming. I recomend you take a screenshot of the japanese texts and pass it trough google translate to actually know whats in there.

Forgot to mention that there is also a Visual Indicator for the Perfect Shot area right at your Hand when shooting the circle closing at your hand indicates when the white section of the perfect bar shows up. 2. Yep some video and audio mess in the very end no idea what happened there sry.. ill cut out the blank at the end later~
hey seph, i would just like to add that the rapid fire can be added on g rank weapons through sigils, and because of how they work they don't get the perfect shot bonus dmg which might be a big loss late game, since the perfect shot bonus is buffed even more with zenith gears and the spacing skill
Not sure what the shell breaking exactly indicates but the bullets for all ranged projectiles fall off in damage gradually after the white circle happens which indicates the critical distance starting point. In the case of Bow the Green Line instead.
@@SephVII- okay yeah mandela effect i'm not sure where i got that idea, i went to check back at where i thought i did but that source said basically the same thing, that you want to get it close to behind the white circle
There is an even better sigil called Ultra rapid fire wich let's you empty your clip in one go. Only works on lvl 1 ammo, and nrm lvl2, and negates bullet saver, but the damage will be worth it if you build around it. It’s the Meraginasu sigil (the middle one) on page 40, under sigil crafting. Buy meraginasu fresh blood in rdp shop (only cost 300rdp) and craft it until you get the sigil with Ultra R. Prc 1 (If you want to go pierce, wich I assume you do)

i do something similar but i've set the right click button to reload and use the middle mouse button as the melee button
