In this video ive decided to remove and clean the Intake manifold of my honda city 2008. The in inside of it is not really dirty but decided to clean it anyway. Ive used brush and dishwashing to clean the outside body and just a plain cloth for the intake inside. Cleaned the gasket with dishwashing with soft steel brush for some hard dirt that hard to come off. I was gonna clean the head cover of the valve but i dont have any chemicals for that. if you have any idea how to clean it just let me know in the comments below. Its really nasty looking.
All screws are 10mm except under the intake manifold with 12mm consisting of 2 nuts and 3 bolts

Hey bro. Great video and nice tutorial although not in English. Btw Im from Malaysia. Did u get a high rpm after the cleaning? And if yes how do u fix that? By unplug the battery terminal?

Sorey for that.I will try to add some subtitle in the future. I did clean it with just a rug i found since its not so dirty inside. I just snug a hose and fit into the rug and clean it inside

Hi there I am having some issue. I have same car but I don't have two of the metal gaskets, I have only one that is attached to the engine. Is there suppossed to be two of them with the plastic one in the middle? thanks
i think there shoud be two. one is the bigger thicker one and the other is a very thin metal sheet supposed to be a intake gasket.

Para makuha ang pcv assembly last tangglain ang starter pero luwagan muna ang radiator or condenser..
Thats maybe another way of removing it
@@TechDaDIY tiningnan ko gawa ng mekaniko ko pag kuha nya sa pcv tinanggal nya ang starter kasi nasa likod ang pcv assembly .

@@TechDaDIY ganyan ginawa ko boss hinila ko shortcut dati nabasag ginawa ko dinikitan ko ng otso otso kasi wala benta dito pcv saka punta ako davao . Yun diskarte nila tanggal starter at ang condenser hinila lang kunti ayun libre mo na makuha ang pcv assembly..
Boss ok lang ba di na lagyan ng rtv silicon pagbalik ng intake manifold? Nalinisan ko na first time e di na rin ba ako maglagay ng rtv silicon?
I think di na kailangan. Kasi may rubber gasket naman. Pero mas ok din siguro may silicone para mas silicone para mas sealed. Not sure lang kung advisable.

magkano gasket ngayon ser? yung sakin kaso pagtanggal ko manifold puro sealant bakit kaya ganun, pede bang inde na lagyan sealant
Di ko sure boss e. Ung sakin kasi binalik ko lang ung mga gasket nya. Mas ok boss meron
