its moastly possible. CAVE has a history of bullet hell shooters. mostly notable is the microscopic hitbox dood. eve i finished espgaluda

Shooting games like this, where you blow away EVERYTHING, are a dime a dozen. But has anyone EVER made a game of this type that has “civilians” in it, where shooting them PENALIZES you? ‘Cause if not, I want someone to make one!

Thats actually the entrance to Castle Utsuborne. Seseri is the current princess and heir, and half sister to the protagonists.

And Seseri actually does die in this fight. She does come back in Espgaluda II, but it's not really her. Just a robotic clone who thinks she's Seseri.
Though in Espgaluda II Black Label, you can play as a redeemed Seseri who survived the Stage 5 Boss, healed, and made up with Ageha and Taheta.
That's my head-canon, anyways.
