Idk how many people still need this but for the people that are having the issue with the thumbnail not uploading and it’s just a random clip of the gameplay. To solve this you need to go to your TH-cam studio and activate custom thumbnails by verifying your phone number and then your thumbnails will start to upload. Hope this helped

Mobile phones are the best things to make thumbnails..just make your thumbnail on a mobile phone and save it! Then upload your video from ps4 and make sure the privacy is ‘UNLISTED’ then go to YT STUDIO from your phone and select the thumbnail then click on ‘save’ then make your upload ‘PUBLIC’...u done :)
