or maybe turn on the required features when you're actually using them. You need need your processor at full power all the time as well as max brightness when indoors.
Actually light performance mode puts a strain on the performance and the battery, and the battery gets drained more to get more battery life, so in the general sense its causing more battery drain, in standard it does not have to keep any further settings, so standard is better
S23 plus is the best phone I have ever bought (770 USD in India) as my last phone was OnePlus 7 which had a terrible battery life , I was getting 4-5 hours of SOT but after your suggestions I am getting near 6-7 hours of SOT after charging till 80%,I try to only charge till 80% to save battery health for future.
I have s23 fe and could you please confirm if this setting are same for s23 and s23 fe? Also what should be the battery protection set to? I don't do heavy task just some social media and streaming platforms and office applications...
Thanks for valuable tips My S23 also has same battery drain issue but since i started closing all the running apps then it has given some extra battery life i have updated the phone with the advised setting hoping to get some extra life
Let me know if it works. You can also go to battery settings to see what is actually using the most battery on your phone if you want to cut down on what the biggest problem is
If I could choose just one hack to extend battery life, it would be using a battery limiter (I use Chargie). It would just help me maintain my charge to 20-80% limit and then I'd continue to do using the phone as is.
Bro thanks for this great video I bought s23 256 2 days back from Flipkart india but i am very upset because of the battery draining very fast i don’t know if the phone is fake or something else Please help me if you have idea
I am sure as the phone ages it will become less and less, mainly because the battery will get older and apps might become more demanding on the older hardware, but that shouldn't be for at least a few years, in my opinion.
I bought regular s23 a week ago. I am getting 9-10 sot if i let the battery drop to like 10%. So it's around 10% per 1 hour of screen on time. Others say they get less tho from what i read so idk, maybe i just don't do that heavy tasks on it.
Over the last 7 days I have been getting between 5 to 7 and a half hours of screen on time. And I only charge once a day. I do have to add that on most days I start charging my phone at around 20 to 30% so you could potentially get more screen on time, but you could get less if you have higher brightness, less black on screen etc
It might be able to for sure. All my previous Samsung devices lasted 2 years with nothing wrong with them, so I assume they would last 3 to 4 years easily
Worst phone in battery life, regret the upgrade for Samsung from poco x5 slow charging speed. A lot of junk in phones and the battery only lasted for 4 hours screen on time
It's actually pretty good, small size, and okay battery, great display, if I use it in 4g Kudos to me, the battery is much better in 4g, in android 14 dark mode or not no use
@71bhavaneshmogilichendu29 why to do so much compromise if you are using a flagship. We have to enjoy all the features in flagship like 5g good display without compromising battery. That's why people avoid this phone
My A50, which I had for almost 6 years prior to getting the S23 was a TANK. if the charge port wouldn't have crapped out, I would still be using it. This S23 is probably only going to be a single year phone. The battery is teee-rash.
The battery of this device is incredible even without trying to improve it. But for some people they want to get more out of it and none of these reduce the performance of the device except for power saving mode
@@Jacqie I appreciate your video and everything you suggested got my battery life up. But, I was expecting more of Samsung in terms of battery and fast charging. I recently got an s23, and it never has charge at the end of the day even with normal day-to-day utility use when I have 85% safe charging turned on. $800 and this is what I get. I am disappointed. I still use my old Oneplus with warp charge even when I have an s23 lying around and only carry it when I need a better camera.
@@anishshrestha8146 go old school with slow charging at night and take off the 85% cap. You can do this automatically with the Routine settings. There was some rumors that future update charging process will make it so that charging rate changes during the night to make it 100% by the time you wake up. With this it won't be topping up at 100% constantly.

Lite mode makes no difference really, and when playing games it uses full power so no worries about performance
In short, don't use the phone for anything and anyway its intended to be used to save battery life

You sure about it vro😢, it's draining even without any usage 🤥

No. none of these affect your camera performance and output. Even when you are doing some edits on your images.
