My childhood Friday nights were at a bowling alley and I’ve seen quite a few 300s bowled, hell my dad has over 30+. The really cool thing besides just the crowd standing behind the bowler, usually during league times the whole venue goes quiet before they throw. You never notice how much back ground noises are at a bowling alley until all pins are standing still and no balls are being thrown down for one person.
Nah. Having an 800 series is. Having a perfect game is OK, but nailing 3 games in series for an 800+ average means you threw almost less than 40 balls over 3 games

The pin car is absolutely ridiculous which is crazy because at my center you can go pocket 7 10 about 1every 5 shots and every time I had the front 6 or higher a 7 10 would show up

Many congratulations to this young man! I threw mine at age 28 back in 2003. No feeling like number 12 falling, that ball took forever to get to the pins! I started the night with 19 in a row but messed up and barely missed my 800. Day he'll never forget, I promise you
True. While our culture goes overboard on basically worshipping the concept of childhood (to the detriment of said children), this kind of enthusiasm is certainly not part of that and i love it.
I remember my first 300 game. It was on the Atari 2600 in the early 1980's. Nobody was there as it took place after school and Mom never came down to the basement but it was just as exciting (or not. Honestly, it was so long ago...)
kid has excellent technique, 2 handed bowling is better than 1 handed but is incredibly difficult to master. I bet everyone in the building was watching that last frame, very well done and a moment they'll never forget
Kid missed his mark repeatedly. Kids that start bowling like this have no fundamentals. If they learn correctly they don’t have to rely on revving the ball like that. Once they get on a PBA pattern things won’t be so easy.
@@jeremiahmoye6384 ok dude, he missed his mark by one board twice, and by more than that once. You, in fact, are allowed to make small mistakes if your overall technique is solid, which his is, if it wasnt he wouldnt have bowled a 300. Especially at his age the most important things are preventing burnout and solidifying good technique
My dad was a pinsetter back in the 40's. He told me stories about beating adults and playing for money. After he died I was going through some of his things and came across 2 giant boxes loaded with trophies for bowling perfect games. He was an incredible human. I'd rather you use "to" when it's supposed to be "too," rather than throwing in an extra 'o' just because you don't know when to use "too." "Too" is used in TWO different ways. An abundance of something, like "too many 'o's in your word," and basically as a substitute for the word "also." As an example, "you, too, can learn to use the proper forms of 'to, too, and two.'"
I don't know if this style is legal in pro bowling. I think you have to use at least 2 holes but I'm not positive. I know you can't be consistent like this.
@@erpringle - in the slow motion vids he has, you can see how much English he is able to put on the ball using this technique. I'd imagine that's why it's not allowed in professional leagues. If he likes bowling and indeed wants to pursue it as a profession, he might be in for a rude awakening if he doesn't learn required techniques. On the upside, he's saving his wrist!
Definitely not a record when many people have bowled a 900 series (3x300 in a row). Plus there are records like the guy that bowled 47 strikes in a row. So, not to take any credit away from this kid and his talent, but there are always records to break.

Not sure about the pin, but after filling out paperwork at the bowling alley with a verified game - you will be sent a ring. Friend of mine had several rings - I’m awful at bowling.
Out of curiosity, what makes you think nine-tappers are "things of legend?" It just means you're overshooting the pocket a bit (hitting too deep into the pocket). Aside from it looking kinda cool, there's really nothing special about it -- aside from knowing what it means and being able to adjust. The "PURE" shots like #12 where one hammers the pocket and leaves no questionable pins standing are far more impressive, in my opinion. 👍
@@Strype13 I think the legend is more of getting lucky enough to have them fall and preserve a run/300 (particularly this many in a single game), and how they can look pretty neat. I agree with the #12 shot being the best considering it's for the perfect game and itself went basically perfectly.
Sometimes you can just do nothing wrong. He caught every good luck break he could catch through out that game. The best ball he threw was ball 12 by far. That was clutch

Many congratulations to this young man! I threw mine at age 28 back in 2003. No feeling like number 12 falling, that ball took forever to get to the pins! I started the night with 19 in a row but messed up and barely missed my 800. Day he'll never forget, I promise you
my legs feel like rubber in the tenth frame
😥I have NEVER done it 291 best game
Love the support. Adults generally love seeing kids crushing it no matter what it is.
True. While our culture goes overboard on basically worshipping the concept of childhood (to the detriment of said children), this kind of enthusiasm is certainly not part of that and i love it.

kid has excellent technique, 2 handed bowling is better than 1 handed but is incredibly difficult to master. I bet everyone in the building was watching that last frame, very well done and a moment they'll never forget
two handed will give you better ball spin by far, and should be illegal. it's called bowls not rolls for a reason.
Lucky kid.
@@yuk-erkmckirk9277yeah, missing a mark by 5-6 boards and still carrying. Must be nice.

Nice game Brady!! I bowled a 300 game once myself in 2010.

What's so nice is too hear all the support when you did it. Congratulations on a great score!
I'd rather you use "to" when it's supposed to be "too," rather than throwing in an extra 'o' just because you don't know when to use "too."
"Too" is used in TWO different ways. An abundance of something, like "too many 'o's in your word," and basically as a substitute for the word "also." As an example, "you, too, can learn to use the proper forms of 'to, too, and two.'"

I just can't accept this style.
I don't know if this style is legal in pro bowling. I think you have to use at least 2 holes but I'm not positive. I know you can't be consistent like this.
@@erpringle its not.

He tied a record that can never be broken.
Tied for 1st place is still 1st place😁 and it can never be taken.

@@The8th1 golden pin is a bowling pin painted gold. Some lanes give them away if you throw a 300 game.
Dude the 5th, 8th, and 11th on their own are things of legend, let alone all in the same game. And then #12 is just PURE
