Looks like I watched the wrong one... BUT, I mean, it was the full song and the full actual video was in there right? So... at least I didn't miss anything.

Maybe you could watch it on your own time if you’re interested but I honestly don’t think a whole separate reaction is necessary cuz the differences aren’t huge (it’s only the slightly off syncing at certain spots and the added Euphoria footage)

Here's info that some still aren't aware of:
❤️JIMIN, at age 11-12 started studying, performing, & competing (winning every competition), in hip hop, popping (excelled), & street dancing, while attending the renowned Just Dance Academy in Busan where he's from! He was so good that an instructor even had the high tuition fee waived at one point! This was while also attending middle school, where he loved sports, being quite athletic, joined the football team, excellent at track, great at basketball, & billiards! Jimin also, all throughout his schooling, was known as a top scholar, achieving perfect scores, especially in math & science which just always came easy to him! Jimin was even class president for 9 yrs in a row! Jimin, all throughout his schooling, was also quite good in art class, as well as calligraphy.
Jimin, then also took up contemporary dance. The media, after seeing a performance of Jimin's performing at a huge Busan Festival Event, called Jimin "The rising star of Busan"!! JIMIN also studied ballet & traditional Korean dance while attending Busan High School of the Arts. Jimin still went to Just Dance Academy to take hip hop classes whenever he could because his first love has always been hip hop, even though he was now majoring in contemporary! JIMIN even had an offer to dance overseas, but declined because he also wanted to become a singer since the 2nd grade, to the dismay of one of his dance instructors who said "The world of dance was going to lose a great artist"!!
So Jimin then went and auditioned for BigHit Entertainment, (company BTS is signed with), being the very last member to join, being a trainee for only a few months (which is unheard of for most Kpop idols), as opposed to the 2-3 yrs of being a trainee the other members had! But Jimin was so good that he was assigned the official title of one of the two Main Dancers, as well as Lead Vocalist. Jimin was even assigned most of the high notes since the very beginning, because even without all that training in the beginning, he was that good, a natural born singer who, just like his dancing makes you feel every emotion and feeling he's trying to convey!
JIMIN, also, for 8 yrs, since a quite young boy, trained in various forms (4), of martial arts: Taekwondo (Blackbelt), Hapkido, Kumdo (Korean form of Kendo), & Chinese martial arts. He even won a scholarship, the only student to do so, to study more extensively in China for awhile! All the martial arts training has given JIMIN his phenomenal inner core strength, as well as his amazing flexibility, which has enabled Jimin to achieve all those breathtakingly spectacular gravity defying dance moves! JIMIN has found a way to incorporate all his various dance disciplines, as well as his extensive training in martial arts into his unique, ever so special, outstandingly amazing dancing abilities!!
JIMIN, has been called 'Stage Commander', known for his amazing, so mesmerizing stage presence. Wonderful insight to Jimin. Thank you! However, recently, I'm very concerned about JIMIN'S weight loss. For me, it was really noticeable during the Sowoozoo concerts how his weight loss and loss of muscle mass has affected his endurance levels. Sure, our Jimin looks and sounds great but the reality is if he ran out of gas during a less than 2 hr show where he also sat and talked for a duration twice AND was riding in vehicles, what will happen when a world tour resumes? My personal thought is Jimin needs to build his muscle mass and endurance over wanting to look like a toothpick for Vitton. Less than 1% of ARMYS can afford Vitton but 150% of ARMYS want to see a healthy, vibrant Jimin in concert, on MVs, on stage anywhere.

The first part was a "sneaky"" video. Looked like it was the official video but was a let's pretend they're lovers video. Doesn't matter because Jimin's vocals are there, but what a shame someone had to imply there is something beyond a brotherhood between them.
Serendipity is definitely Jimin’s solo song, only Jimin singing and beautifully harmonising with himself. His vocal tone, his vocal control, high notes or lower register, all really really amazing. But also the overall emotions he puts into his performance!!! 💜💜💜
Jimin is my artist of life! I am completely devoted to this gorgeous man, his voice his dance are incomparable and unique, he gives everything and more in each performance, he seems to see a being from another planet when he is on stage, he is not only an idol he already is a world star, just because of him I'm in BTS just to enjoy his talent he always adds his distinctive and natural sexy touch in every performance. Well I could be talking about him my whole life. Please can you see his performance of Filter all his solos are so different, unique, surprising and legendary I love Lie is my favorite song, thank you very much for appreciating it.
Ps. In an interview very recently Jimin mentioned that the main idea of this song was to show all the nuances of his voice with the different layers and harmonizations made by his same voice and that is the key to such success of Serendipity and also the renowned choreographer who worked with Brian Puspos mentioned that this was the best of his career having worked with such a talented dancer as Jimin is more than satisfied and admired by Jimin's dance skills that he demonstrated in Serendipity

The official trailer is the official mv. This video has the full length album version which is why it is longer
Jimin is a contemporary dancer.. he studied for it, and studied popping and locking too.. and trained for martial arts, taekwondo, hapkido, and 2 other more I forgot the name of it... but all of it he incorporate in his dance, that's why he's very elegant and smooth, classy dancer..

Edit: I think what’s happening is that you listened to the full/extended version of the song which is longer than the Official MV because the latter is labeled as a trailer for the LY: Her album. Basically what you watched was the MV with filler footage so the whole song has visuals and not only the cut 3 min version of the trailer

The official video is named as comeback trailer, I think that had him confused. And to add that confusion, this video is named as the full mv. They should allways name these as fmv to avoid this confusion, hmph.

1. Things don't get taken off the official channels, like, ever,
2. If it isn't HYBE/BigHit or BangtanTV with over 50 million subs, it is a fake, and
3. BigHit calls the first song released to promote a new album comeback a trailer even though it is a full length MV. The fragments are called teasers.

"it's the perfect shipping video"... yes, it is. It's a FMV, and not the official MV Lol ! Be carefull, a lot of FMV are calling themselves "full MV" or official MV", but the only official MV are on Hybe Label Channel, or Bangtan TV (there is some fake channel too, but it's easy to find the good one, with the number of followers ) The official MV for Serendipity is calling "comeback trailer" because the song announced the Love yourself : Her album. In any case, this song and the live performance are one of my favorite. I watch it every time I feel down, or upset, or sad, and Jimin's angelic voice and smooth choreo cheer me up !

There is an official MV for Serendipity on their BangtanTV TH-cam channel, this video looks like a JiKook ship video, as in the original it is only Jimin. Please watch the MV at least on your own, it is even better. No it is only Jimin singing in the track.

😂 😂 😂 The whole JK part in the video was added to the original probably bya Jikook shipper. RM wrote this song as a gift to Jimin for his solo. Even the way Jimin sang it was based on how RM sang on the demo. And no JK doesn't sing in this song

Bang PD (big boss of HYBE) was caught watching this performance with a big smile on his face. Bang PD is one of the writers for Serendipity 😊.
This merged the official MV with shots from other mvs. At the point where you camera shut off - that's when the extra scenes were merged onto the official. The official mv is not the full length edition of the song. So they used the official and then added in extra scenes to cover the full length version, if that makes sense. JK doesn't sing in Serendipity. Wow. I used the word official far to many times.
Also, it wasn't a daytime show... it was during the summer and they started before sunset because their concerts are fairly long.

This is definitely a fan made MV where they took the official MV and wanted to use the full version of the song rather than the cut down version which is what the official MV uses. So they added footage from other MVs to fill in the space....which is why JK makes a surprise appearance. The official MV has subtitles but is a shorter version of the song. I don't really like that they edited other things in as I think it takes away the feeling of the MV they way it was made. Oh well at least you heard the full song but I would encourage you to watch the original on your own I think watching the MV the way it was intended gives a much better feel.

Sooo I know this video is about Jimin (who by the way is my bias 😁) but you were talking about the production being really good and just wanted to let you know was done by none other than the great, amazing, ever so talented RM Mr. Kim Namjoon (who is my bias wrecker ironically...lol) BUT that being said he originally wrote AND produced this song for himself but ended up passing it on to Jimin (obviously VERY good decision) because he thought his voice would be perfect for it and he was 1000% right because just DAMN well you heard it straight FIRE!!! I most definitely think that it is so underrated how some don't notice the little details and I'm so happy to see someone appreciate all that goes into what the boys do (singing AND producing). I know this is long and I could seriously go on and on but I'll stop here. I hope you got this far down into my comment because I just wanted to say thank you for the wonderful reaction and it's so fun to watch when people fall down the BTS rabbit hole because there is absolutely no coming back from it.
