Lötschental - the road to Fafleralp, Switzerland

i like those windy unusual and narrow roads in the alps. It is really fun to drive. a shame that i couldn´t be there this summer

Normally, I would question aiming the camcorder so high, but it would be a travesty to not focus on the mountain scenery instead, in this particular video. Damn, I think I would piss in my pants, if I saw mountains as beautiful as these. The only place I can think of in America that compares to this, is Glacier National Park in northwestern Montana.

@FreewayBrent Actually these are mediocre mountains compared to what you can find elsewhere in Switzerland. Search on wikipedia for Jungfrau, Matterhorn, Monte Rosa or Piz Bernina. Unfortunately, there are no roads leading up to them :)

@ScrewdUPClickV2 Thanks. I pointed the camera slightly upwards on purpose, to get more of the surroundings and to prevent contrast problems. If you point it too low, you couldn't tell the difference between the snowy mountains and the sky.
