The points are Great Story play a Important role in video , When you will learn the art of knowing you're audience i don't think is any thing left because this is the most important part of any thing so my suggestion is to everyone take some time to understand you're audience and their needs at the end is all about solving problem and providing value .

Curious how long it took to edit a video like this? Also what size "team" do you have. I think most people (self included) shy away from making videos just because of time editing time suck or inability to be able to pull off. If you just wanted to pay someone to edit the video adding animations and making it "fun" what would you recommend?
Yes highly recommend it. A video like this usually take 1 week to edit and its only 1 person. Finding a good editor is hard but communicating what your looking for is even harder. I will cover this topic in a future video... stay tune!

Totally but every audience is different. Sam Sulek audience is alot of younger dudes but his videos have very minimal editing.
