Great game Faustino gets so animated when he wins especially against players like Hikaru he has tremendous talent fantastic moves the kid knows his tactics Thanks Jerry
Oro was initially outplayed but he spotted Ba6 cutting off White’s escape and then seized the initiative with the brilliant file-clearing tactical shot (Bb4!) against White’s stranded king! Equally impressive from there brought home the win with razor sharp precision. No wonder this youngster is already an IM! Lesson to older OTB chess players .. if your king is not completely safe, avoid tactical melees, especially with up & coming young wonder-kinds reared on puzzle-rush & stockfish! lol. Thanks Jerry for your illuminating analysis. I love games like this where one side is on the ropes but flips the game with a combination of positional finesse topped by an out of the blue tactical shot!
Thank you. I don’t believe this is a case of Faustino being outplayed. True that the assessment was favorable for white by 0.7ish after Bxc5 and Ng5, but it was far from clear. Faustino navigated the ensuing open/sharp middlegame better.
@ Ok, thanks for the computer eval. Agree .7 does not mean being outplayed just a bit of an initiative, normal for White. Ten year old Oro’s tactical awareness and precision was very impressive. Exciting that so many prodigies are emerging now, post pandemic. I wish Carlsen and the other super GMs would play all the young prodigies; the public would watch, the youngsters would learn a lot, and would be some exciting games. Russia used to host such duels regularly to promote young talents. Mind boggling someone so young can play so well! Thanks for posting with your excellent analysis Jerry.
I saw Bb4 would be tricky (poisoned queen), but I didn't understand what black gains after pawn takes Rc1+ and then Qxd5. I thought it's dead equal, oops! Nice game, thanks!
As soon as I saw the LSB taking away all the light squares and the rook on the open file, I knew something was going to happen there. I did spot Bb4, but I'm a little embarrassed to admit that I thought you can't take either hanging piece without getting mated in 1.
Fantastic game. It's funny how different lines cross over. I was wondering why white Q didn't go to the A file to attack the white square Bishop, and stop mate, but the same black bishop pin works, and black ends up up the exchange with Queens off, two rooks vs rook and knight, and the white K stuck in the centre.
Nearly thirty mintes and a process of elimination found it for me. Would i find it in a real game? No. that was great stuff, and now there is an even younger IM, scary kids. Thanks Jerry.
I found Bb4 but embarrassingly I missed that after axb4 Rc1+ Rd1 Rxd1+ the bishop is won back XD idk if i should be happy i found the move or sad for not seeing 3 moves ahead ahahaha
Don't move until you see it...
nice vid, Jerry!
@ChessNetwork Bb4 took 2 seconds!
I saw it! But only because jerry told us to pause the video and find it. Impossible to find it in a real rapid game! This kid is amazing 😊

This is one of the most savage games I've ever seen
These videos must be working, because I spotted the star move! 😊 what a game!
Once, JUST ONCE, I wish Jerry would share merely an AVERAGE game with us. :)
Thanks for uploading Jerry, great as always ! // Tony 🥷🏻✌🏻
Not bad for a 10 year old!
Another Jerry video to get us through the day. Thank you.
Holy cow. And he's 10? Oy.
It's normal
@@altrfryd5859 it´s not, that´s why he is the youngest IM ever and not another "normal" kid
I can't even. That secret bishop move was golden. And
"Let's trade queens."
"Sure. In fact, take it for free. And have the bishop too."
This kid has a very bright future, what a talent
yay, a pop quiz I got right!
excellent game and analysis as always, thank you for your work Jerry
Excellent

Same here.
Great game.
11:46 Qg5??
thank you jerry
This boy is so good it feels eerie, i can't imagine what will be his peak
Thank you for this GEM!!!
at 3:41 why not white with pawn b4 and you get either the knight or the bishop??
If 16. b4? cxb3 which is an en passant capture and white's queen is threatened by the black pawn.
Kid is fire
Very exciting and very impressive. Thanks Jerry.
Thanks. 🎉❤
unreal.
Thank you
Faustino Oreo is considered to be one of the best players in the world and a potentional to become the next world champion
11:50 what if Qe3? Atleast white defend f pawn

Whos Rudik Makarian?

Can't he play b4 forking both knight and bishop when the bishop had recaptured the pawn on c5's breakthrough
En passant
Really i cannot see now i think that i am a blunder master😂😂
Damn! Oro played his queen like prime 80s Kasparov 😂. Mad queen!
I didn't see it, but I see how he would have seen it. 😅 Bold move!
