Hey Jerry if you're reading this i just wanna say I appreciate these vids so much! You been my fav chess youtuber since 2014 and i hope you never stop uploading :) hope u having a good holiday brother
His hint makes it much easier to find. You might not find it in a real game. Congratulations on finding the move, though! Well done! I found the move as well, but it's more important that we understand everything that got us there. We've, also, gotta finish it from that position. There was still a lot of fight in the position!
@crustycarhartt that's the thing, tho, it's in character. Naroditsky often one-shots his queen bishop. You begin to look for it in your own games, and others. It's very in-character imo.
Beautiful game and great choice and video as usual Jerry. You always seem to always preemptively answer every question I have by covering the variation before I can even ask whereas other chess channels even if they are great would at least skip one or two replies and the reasoning behind why that line is bad. Loved the attack in this game starting from Bxh3. There were bits of brutality like the bishop sacs to open up whites king, then followed with more slow, subtle positional queen moves while leaving his bishop is enprise.. and then his knight too, and yet blacks continues ignoring the threats against his bishop and knight, ignores winning whites bishop on h5 with queen fork, and instead continues making threats of his own which Danya correctly assesses as being the more deadly threat due to danya going after whites king with ruthless persistence. It felt like black was not allowed to take backwards step and give up the initiative after Bxh3. From that moment on it was no retreat no surrender. It's either you or me, do or die. Bxg2 is basically white saccing another life, this time the knight on c5 which is indeed what happened in the game with Bxg2 Qc4+ Kh8 Qxc5. White's follow up after that with the "subtle" Qh3 was brilliant, but I think saccing the bishop with Qxe3+ Kxg2 and bring down 2 whole pieces to then follow it up with the "quiet" Rg8 nice threatening a discovered check which would force white to have to give back probably some 12-15 points worth of material including white's queen just to delay getting checkmated. Brilliant game by Danya and great commentary/analysis by Jerry as usual, and also need to give props for the games chosen. Jerry always has impeccable taste when choosing which games to cover and unlike some other channels, he didn't just choose Carlsens or superGM games but it feels to me like he chooses them based on some specific concept or idea that is interesting to both himself and to us subscribers. Much thanks and
Nice to see your channel steadily adding subscribers. Your analysis is much more insightful than Agadmator who is simply not strong enough to use his engine to pick out the most important concepts and illustrate them as you do. And you don't just whip through the moves at breakneck speed like Gotham or Hikaru, with an added dose of (in Gotham's case) gratuitous insults to your viewers and shameless promotion of basically sub-par products. The only chess TH-cam channel now of comparable quality to yours is Daniel King's PowerPlayChess, but I think yours is a tad better for the average player. Bravo!
Agreed, Daniel King and Jerry here are the best in chess analysis right now. Love watching them both. I used to follow Levy, but these days, he goes over the variations too fast, and the insults to us viewers don't help. When he first started out, the quality was much better. Agadmator at least tries his best, I don't think he can manage the same quality due to his strength, but he does provide more quantity, sometimes Jerry or King doesn't cover certain games, and Agadmator or Levy does, so I choose Agadmator in those case, as he doesn't insult us atleast, nor go over the games too quickly.
Danya doing well in an exciting tournament with great players is certainly not unexpected, but it is maybe the nicest way all of this nonsense could have concluded.
@AndMoreso It's unexpected for the small number of kramnik devotee's who were convinced he was cheating. I've argued with dozens of these people over the last year about it and it's insane how some people think. I would still have had absolute confidence in danya's integrity had he lost every single game, but I will admit this strong performance is a nice "wink wink" to all those people I was pulling my hair out trying to reason with.
Not necessarily in this case. We might say Qe7 influenced the structure. White released the tension, exchanging his 4th rank pawn for Black’s 3rd rank pawn.

Jerry’s really getting creative with these titles 😂
That KID is slaying
Jerry needs to try ”Transparent lingerie gambit” in his next title
Great game by Danya.
The right way to answers his detractors.
Kinda nice to see Danya on the other side of a game analysis 😅
This is the golden age of Jerry. Let’s appreciate the frequent uploads of high quality analysis.
Jerry, it’s so nice to have you creating content. Thank you! It really brightens my day.
Daniel won against Abusattorov (round 7) and is sole leader after that round. He's definitely on fire at the moment.
I took three things away. I hope I'm not being greedy.
Nice. What were they? 😎
@@ChessNetwork I think the joke is that not being greedy is one of them
@aaaaaa-rr8xm No, that's not it. Its because Jerry often says near the end of the video: hope you took a thing or two.
Beating Wood with your KID is tight!
I spotted bishop x h3! These videos are paying off!

@KF1 I haven't watched enough of his games to know his style. That's interesting to know.
💪
your commentary and analysis are fantastic!
Thank you 👍
Great game by Danya! Thanks Jerry!
Thanks Jerry.
This video is definitely for choice!

@ex0duzz
The best comment ever.
Danya's insane to go for these sharp continuations haha. Wow talk about a knife's edge!
thanks Jerry
Nice to see a KID that doesn’t lock up in the centre, more like a free wheeling Smith Morra.
Rebecca Harris was always a superb player
very good
Good one! What's the famous expression, tactics emerge from superior positions? I know that's not it, but it's close.
Tactics flow from a superior position, Bobby Fischer.
👍😎
hi Jerry, it’s everyone!
Hi Jerry. Good analysis, bud.
wow.a masterpiece.
The black queen was a menace in this game
What a gem!!!
Hi Jerry
Daniel is an expert at this opening
hello everyone :)
@ChessNetwork the result is visible on the screen (1-0). Not sure if that was intended or not.
With the video’s title I figured I’d just leave it. 😎
Gotta love Danya!

He’s clearly using a second screen on this game. 🤓

What does KID even mean?
King's Indian Defense
Hi Jerry.
I had a dream that this guy is a serial klLer.

Isnt 7…Qe7 a wasted tempo if she only moves back?
Not necessarily in this case. We might say Qe7 influenced the structure. White released the tension, exchanging his 4th rank pawn for Black’s 3rd rank pawn.
