Skarsgård stars as "Boy" who avows revenge after his family is murdered by Hilda Van Der Koy (Janssen), the deranged matriarch of a corrupt post-apocalyptic dynasty that left the boy orphaned, deaf and voiceless. Driven by his inner voice, one which he co-opted from his favorite childhood video game, Boy trains with a mysterious shaman (Ruhian) to become an instrument of death and is set loose on the eve of the annual culling of dissidents. Bedlam ensues as Boy commits bloody martial arts mayhem, inciting a wrath of carnage and blood-letting. Looks like a real misstep in bills recent movies, hopefully the crow is better tho I'm not convinced.
The fact that Yayan Ruhian a.k.a. Mad Dog from The Raid movies is in this movie made me so excited for the action scenes. He deserves so many big action roles and Hollywood better not waste his talent. He's 55 years old and can still kick ass like a beast!
I loved his performance in The Raid movies and John Wick Chapter 3

Same with the operator from the night comes for us.. Julie Estelle has 1 of thee greatest fight scenes ever. She comes from Yaya and Ikos bunch, she was hammer girl on raid 2.
If he's in it he's probably also doubling up as the fight choreographer

This movie is a perfect blend of action and star power, can't wait to see it!

And the only reason why I kno the voice is bcuz my ex-gf used to watch Bob’s Burgers & I from time to time catch an episode with her ya kno? It’s a diff type of humor when it comes to cartoons but nonetheless it’s still not that bad. I like the daughter with the glasses & beanie on all the time or maybe just glassed I’m not sure but she’s funny af on there. This movie looks hella lit 🔥 tho, can’t wait to watch it my friend real talk 💯💯💯

Personally, one of my favorite action/revenge movies I have ever seen. It was an absolute masterpiece. A beautiful blend of story substance, gore, fight choreography, and realistic back and forth of good vs. evil. Wow... Just WOW!

It's like one of those episodes where they each tell a story and this is Bob's and he chose an action movie!!
This film had to be shot around 2021 because Cameron Crovetti who plays the younger version of Boy was shooting Amazon Prime's The Boys series and now he is all grown-up. The fact that Andrew Koji aka Ah Sahm is an ally to The Boy with the Raid Actor Yayan Ruhian as The Boy's trainer I am already sold by this movie.
I remember in 2022 he appeared in the film The Gray Man playing the younger version to Ryan Gosling's character where his father portrayed by Shea Whigam abused him as a child. The movie came around July 2022.
@@sand-oh1sg Makes sense because during late 2021 or beginning of 2022 Andrew Koji was starting to film Warrior season 3 in Cape Town, South Africa and it didn't get released until 2023.
I find it funny that the Crovetti twins played sons of Alexander Skarsgård in Big Little Lies, and now playing a younger version of Bill Skarsgård.
Just finished watching this movie, it's good to see they use yayan ruhian as mad dog fighting character scene. This is what we want an unmerciful mad dog character fighting!!!👍🏼 Awesome 😎
H Jon Benjamin has been one of my favorite voices since I was a kid.
I'm in the moment I saw Yayan Ruhian of The Raid. And Bill Skarsgard looks bad ass. This is going to be a fun Popcorn and Soda movie.
