- The 2007 Pilot's belt was wearing on the side and squealing pretty loudly, so I replace the bad pulley and put a new belt on. This video will show you how.

Looks like an RX7 FD in the background. I had a 85 and 94. Loved both. I'm about ready to change the tensioner assemb. on my '13 CRV. Mine makes a small
Glad the video helped you out! It is an RX-7 in the background. Good eye!
Fuck yeah
Glad it helped you out! Lol.
How can you tell the difference between chirping belt or a pully or tensioner. I have a chirping only in the morning for the first start of that day that goes away after 45 seconds
Thanks for watching! You would probably need to use a mechanics stethoscope. You can get them at Harbor Freight for around ten dollars. While it's squeaking, place the probe end on the pulley bolts individually. Whichever one is the louder one is the culprit. Hope this helps you out!
Can we just replace the tensioner pulley instead of the whole assembly? I have some play on my TP and my idler pulley had no issues. I got the TP from dealer for under 20 bucks. Part number : 31180-RCA-A02
Thanks for the video 👍
You absolutely can use this approach! Good call. Just make sure to use threadlock where necessary. For the price difference between the two (And what your wrenching time is worth), I decided to replace the whole thing and do it once.
How did this go? If it's just the idler pulley it could be don't in the vehicle no?
What do you think about gaining access to the 12mm bolt from the bottom (wheel well ) ?
@@TheChensoccer You probably could, but would have to lift the vehicle and pull the wheel and tire off, etc. Might be more trouble than it's worth.
