I'd like to talk to Zac in person with Zac not to talk about his wife per say but to talk about HIM that seems to be all he cares about. You'd think he would find more appreciation of Ashleigh! He might have seen combat (& I DO appreciate you & all our servicemen & women!) But he has not more will he ever experience childbirth or being a woman in any way. security isnt supposed to intervene, a lot of security companies dont give you a gun or anything like that, youre supposed to just be a witness and deescalating at no risk to your life.
Zac reminds me of my brother who came back from Iraq. There’s a lot going on internally with him. Struggles with emotions and relating to others. That I could understand but to go so far as to call your wife a slur on TV makes me not like the guy.

I still can't forget the state of Garza's knuckle after the fight. I can't imagine how hard you need to punch something for your knuckle to end up in the middle of your back palm.
He probably broke it on a cement wall. When you're fighting in close quarters you're usually just winging punches for your life. throwing a punch and having it land where you want it to is pretty hard in the heat of battle.
It wouldn’t take that much force to do it either. Especially for a grown man, & if he did hit the wall. A forehead is about as hard as you can get too though. Punching people in the face isn’t really the best option in fighting. Your hand is made up of tons of tiny bones, & although you can cause severe injury to someone’s head, it most likely won’t happen without you having some serious damage as well. Even if it is just your hand. Learn how to kick. Much more power, & reach if you can become proficient.
It doesn't take much. Just a missed punch thrown at full force. Happened to me, threw a punch at only my pinky knuckle landed on his eye, knocked my knuckle to the back of my hand.

The guards did say they didn't find it funny, that is clear as you stated. But it does sound a bit, what's the word? Not hypocritical. Can't think of it. They downplayed the severity of the hazing, and then had a go at Ryan when he basically said the exact same thing the guards did here. Maybe hypocritical is the right word.
Completely agree. The concept is fantastic but there are so many inconsistencies and the balance is wrong. They hammer Ryan wrongly most of the time and don’t listen to what he has to say, Sheriff Jamey l’d edit shows him as quite ignorant.
I hated how when Zacs wifebcalled him, he answered, but never asked how she was, he just rambled on about how he's got a new Mustang, and how he was in Vegas, or New York.
Yeah. No one was asking him to cry all over the phone but there's a lot to be said for 10 genuine seconds of human empathy. Dude has NO personality Edit: I'll give him this. He said watching the footage made him realize Ashleigh was going through more than he realized at the time. And regardless of whether true, there is a perception that women's lockup is easier than men's. (Probably true overall at least when it comes to rapes and beatings but I couldn't say) So I will say he probably had no real idea. And Ashleigh isn't too communicative either. But then she's in jail and can't exactly talk openly about issues with other inmates because they're all in the same room with her.

Are you deaf the first thing he asked was “How are you” it’s even in subtitles on the bottom in that episode. Then she gave her one word reply and expected him to read her mind. She was just looking for a reason to complain.
He only stood up to Zac because there's two officers of the law there and there was a camera there so he knew you would be safe when he said something to Zac. As you saw he shut his mouth real quickly once Zac said we can take it outside
Jeff ain't smart when inside Jail. And not strong enough to defend himself. He's not fit to be undercover and even though he's a fan of watching A&E, he didn't do what he must do and he got pulled out unlike Zac just watch and truly fits in the assignments.

I am not a huge fan of either of these guys, but Jeff was right on this. Zac dropped the ball hard. He was almost taunting Ashleigh with how good things were for him on the outside. Like, in one conversation, he was talking about how he got to ride in limos because taxis weren't available and he was traveling to Las Vegas. Every time she called him for support, he failed her again and again and again.
I agree!! I used to really like Zac until I saw how he treats his wife, and that made me see him in an entirely different light. He honestly doesn't seem like he is even in love with her... But as far as I know they are still together and have a youtube channel, so maybe it was just the way he was portrayed in the show.. Who knows.

I tend to disagree with this statement, although is seemed like Zac was taunting his wife by saying how good things are on the outside, from a guys perspective what he was trying to do was steer the conversation to another direction so that it’s not all about jail talk and could hopefully distract Ashleigh from the stress and drama. A girls perspective is different from a guy. So it may seem like he didn’t care but he was trying to show he cared about help in another way.

I don’t think Zak feels emotion. I’ll give him credit that he did great on the show but as far as relating and feeling empathy towards others he clearly does not. You can even tell on the “where are they now episode.” When he was talking about his brother it was like he was going with the motions describing it but was numb to it. The interview lady felt more emotion than he showed. You can tell even the way he talks and conducts himself he is a very literal person and doesn’t realize how he comes off. Look at the different between Zak and Nate. They both did good however Nate showed more empathy towards ppl and was more likeable.

I saw that Zac had issues when he publicly outed his wife as an alcoholic when he was still an inmate. He shouldn't have done that, i felt humiliated for her. Then he was completely emotionally unavailable for her and said things that subtly put her in her place. The fact that he wanted to settle the score with violence when he feels insulted shows that this guy has anger & control issues-- don't give him a badge, get him a therapist.

I thought it was pretty clear that Zac has undiagnosed PTSD, the way he seems almost emotionless and numb, how jail was a breeze to him but somehow having an emotional moment with his wife was difficult, the way he analyzed situations on 60 days in sometimes almost seemed more calculated and logical than caring. And the quick to anger and I don’t mean that prone to get violent because he handled himself well in jail, but how he seemed to just switch from calm and a slight passive aggressive tone to “let’s take it outside” I don’t think he thinks highly I think he thinks about things very logically so that his brain can avoid the intricate emotion side of the brain

Mehhh he didn’t really. Zac already had pointed out when Jeff didn’t fight. Jeff explained his glasses had come off, but even still, it’s very obvious he was not prepared to fight, nor was he ever. Now at the reaction, Zac calls to fight him, and you see the immediate fear. He did not learn anything, but he does not need to with what he’s doing now. Zac was right, was always being honest, and got angry.
I could be wrong, but I felt like Jeff was just pointing out that Zac's conversation with his wife just cast light on the fact that in Zac's 'world' ... I am not a huge fan of either of these guys, but Jeff was right on this. Zac dropped the ball hard. He was almost taunting Ashleigh with how good things were for him on the outside. Like, in one conversation, he was talking about how he got to ride in limos because taxis weren't available and he was traveling to Las Vegas. Every time she called him for support, he failed her again and again and again.

I tend to disagree with this statement, although is seemed like Zac was taunting his wife by saying how good things are on the outside, from a guys perspective what he was trying to do was steer the conversation to another direction so that it’s not all about jail talk and could hopefully distract Ashleigh from the stress and drama. I don’t think Zak feels emotion. I’ll give him credit that he did great on the show but as far as relating and feeling empathy towards others he clearly does not. You can even tell on the “where are they now episode.” When he was talking about his brother it was like he was going with the motions describing it but was numb to it. The interview lady felt more emotion than he showed. You can tell even the way he talks and conducts himself he is a very literal person and doesn’t realize how he comes off. Look at the different between Zak and Nate. They both did good however Nate showed more empathy towards ppl and was more likeable.

I thought it was pretty clear that Zac has undiagnosed PTSD, the way he seems almost emotionless and numb, how jail was a breeze to him but somehow having an emotional moment with his wife was difficult, the way he analyzed situations on 60 days in sometimes almost seemed more calculated and logical than caring. And the quick to anger and I don’t mean that prone to get violent because he handled himself well in jail, but how he seemed to just switch from calm and a slight passive aggressive tone to “let’s take it outside” I don’t think he thinks highly I think he thinks about things very logically so that his brain can avoid the intricate emotion side of the brain

Okay, by what you say, Zak as a police officer would not back up his fellow officer if he considers the risks are too great/too many people against him (that's what prison rules are - a threat you comply with, or else... ). You either have your guy's back, or you don't. It can't be 50/50. When it's all said an done, Zak doesn't have no one's back but his own. That's it.

Nah he looked at the sheriff which was a great use of body language because it shows how dumb Zac's request was (being as you can't fight with law enforcement right there). Then Jeff finished by saying "and that's why I'm here" in reference to Zac's invitation to talk about his wife to his face. Kinda funny af.

@@tb9368 The sheriff, captain and pretty much every single officer in there is absolutely incompetent. It is obvious that these are the jobs filled up by the leftovers of society. When the pipes burst in season 2 they really put their dullness on display.
