Tiny tip: If you can get your hands on one, a Crozier has an extra bit of prayer bonus over the Ivandis Flail/Blisterwood Flail. They're not expensive or hard to get at all. (Unless you're an iron. In which case, the Void Knight Mace has the same +6 prayer bonus as a Crozier.)
I know groups are recommended but what's the xp/hr difference you get from doing solos rather than groups? Great guide by the way! You explained this very well compared to other guides that make things sound way more complicated! I'm gonna try this out today.
Capping method is more points and xp from my personal experience by around 5-10k xp and an extra 4 or so points per hour. Groups are more "relaxed" to do as you have time mining the boulder, but uses resources unlike capping. And thanks! Mostly kept it simpler because I got tired of waiting through 10 minutes to actually get to the content help, so these began as self-reminder to go back on. Guess others felt the same way lol
Great content as always. Hope there's an option of channel membership soon. Also are you killing Zulrah? If so, can we expect a guidance video someday?
With pray range available, yes. Just make sure to keep an eye out for the FALLING ROCKS, as they will be able to ONE SHOT 10hp. Can't remember or find what the max damage was, but I think I remember a 23 falling on me at one point mining at the boulder, so just run when they appear.
Yeah. Not checking the vents and just mining/capping end up being a little more xp and little less points. Almost to the point of being identical. It's possible, but just watch for the falling rocks and the lava beast would spawn near the boulder area, so still would recommend Pray Missiles.
@@Nathan93x that is entirely true as well from what I remember. Probably why I did it mostly capping lol. Also shorter bursts of time are with 2 minute games.
I think it's interesting the boulder is programmed as an npc. Makes sense as I believe that is the only way to get elements in the game to move, but still neat.
Just started grinding some Volcanic Mine on my ironman for the dragon pick chance, so thank you for this timely video!
Glad to have some good timing. Wish you better luck than me!
I do find it hilarious how it's a slap in the face for normie accounts, since it costs 2.5m to repair while a dragon pick is only 1.3m on the G.E. 😂
Great video! Also bro sounds like a young Ron Swanson
I'll take the compliment. Thank you.

Love seeing the tips! Just grabbed the first thing I saw myself lol
@@nayronics I feel that, haha. It's good to keep it simple and easy to digest, it's a good style! :D
That turn around, thanks so much for this! Great watch
Just had good timing on this one lol. Thank you!
nice video, helped me just as I was looking into volcanic mine!
Glad I could help! Currently waiting to escape this place myself lol.
oh yes its here thanks Nayronics
Full coverage and TLDW in end screen and description.
Enjoy!

I'm into request territory now, so I'll bump Zulrah up!
I just started this content. Can't wait to be a master of it.
Super easy!
Awesome guide! Tyvm
You're welcome!
Thank you for the guide! Would the point capping be possible on a 10 HP HCIM to farm for the d pick (yes I have 43 pray)?

Can you just start the mining bit without checking the vents? Wondering if it's possible on a 10hp account lol.

Would you say it's worth doing the capping method?
That's what I did for most of VM. Barely uses supplies that way.
@@nayronics I just spent the last hour doing a couple of games and capping does seem to be quicker points

Legend.
My community really is, I'm just happy to share with everyone.
I believe the option under the Entity Hider plugin "Hide Dead NPCs" also makes the boulder disappear while it's moving.
