- Hello and welcome!
We have here new video of restoration this two almost 35 years old abandoned motorcycles (mopeds) Jawa Babetta 210. This little motorcycle with Two-stroke petrol engine was mass-produced in former Czechoslovakia from 1983 to 1999. In this video we completely restore all the remaining parts. Paint every parts, everything. Assemby it all together and ends whole restoration.
I would love to thanks everybody who watch, like and share this video and whole series. It was absolutely amazing. I am very glad for all of it.

You did a very good Job. I can't wait to finish my Babetta 210 Projekt. I just took the engine apart, This days i am going to clean the engine and start rebuilding it. In my other comment i told you about the grease that was inside of the engine and you said maybe it was dry oil. It was grease because it was only on the gears. The bottom of the engine it was dry. Maybe the sealing wasn't good enough and they tought the oil would leak and that's why they put grease, i don't know, it was 25 years ago. I cleaned almost everything inside.

Ahoj, ďakujem veľmi pekne za krásny komentár. 🙂 Som rád že ešte stále existujú ľudia ako my, ktorí vedia oceniť tieto kultové stroje na ktorých vyrástli doslova generácie a udržujú ich pri živote aj pre tie ďalšie... Ďakujem, snažil som sa ich urobiť čo najlepšie, určite sa sem tam nejaká chybička nájde, ale myslím si že ako celok sa mi podarilo to čo som mal v pláne- a to vdýchnuť im nový život. 🙂

Does the speedometer cable just drop in to the slot? Mine broke and it is stuck, can't get it out from the wheel, do I have to deassemble it or is it just so rusty?
Hello. Yes, the speedometer cable just drop in. It’s really possible that it is just rusted inside. But I don’t know that if it’s help something when you disassemble it. I don’t know if you get to it. Try to penetrate it with some WD40 or something similar and try to pull it out somehow.
@@ZecoRestoration alright, thanks. Been soaking it in WD40 for few days, tried to pull it with tweezers since no pliers reach it. Have to find ones that fit so I can get a good pull.

Čauko, ďakujem ti veľmi pekne 🙂 Vieš čo na tieto konkrétne Babetty som kupoval všetko čo som potreboval z Kolárova, od Motozolzsa, a niečo som mal aj doma ešte uloženkové originálne diely. Ale inak beriem diely aj z Fichtlkrámku, Motorenu a tak…
Ahoj, aka je to farba prosim ťa ? Nie nahodou RAL 5024 ?
Ahoj. Nie je to žiadny odtieň z RAL vzorkovníku. Je to autolak miešaný podľa dielcu z nejakého auta ktoré som v minulosti robil a ktorý mi ešte vystal a ostal doma… Buď to bude Mercedes alebo Peugeot odtieň, iné autá v takejto podobnej modrej farbe ktoré som musel striekať som v poslednej dobe nerobil... Skúsim pohľadať plechovicu a keď tak ti pošlem priamo kód farby podľa ktorého ti ju namiešajú v Spies Heckeri. 🙂

zdravím, chtěl bych se zeptat, kolik jste spotřeboval barvy na jednu babettu? díky
Dobrý večer. Celkovo som minul na jednu Babettu približne 4dcl čiernej vrchnej 2K PUR farby na rám atď. A 3dcl modrej metalízy a 4dcl číreho laku (lak som dával v dvoch vrstvách), a striekacie pištole mám so systémom HVLP (dneska už bežne používaný systém, ale ak máte nejakú staršiu pištoľ ktorá používa klasický systém tak by som kúpil pre istotu viac farby). Pod čierne diely som aj základ použil čierny PUR. Pod modré diely zasa šedý 1K SH Priomat základ kvôli prípadnej reakcii.
What's the lil gear that you turned on the right side is it engine disengage what that mean thanks
It's idling gear. If you turn it it's disengage engine and then you can simply pedal like on a bicycle and the motor is fully disconnected. Or for easier start, if you don't turn it completely, you can pedal few times on the bike and the idling gear will activate itself. But I personally don't use it...

Oh, yes. The full name of these mopeds is Jawa Babetta 210. Later, the newer ones are simply Babetta 210. But it is true that they were exported abroad only under the Jawa brand, as was the case with, for example, mopeds exported to the USA since Jawa was a well-known even there. But it also depended on the destination. Somewhere they had their own special names. 🙂
Hi from Poland. I have the same babetta 210. I did frame etc tip top but i have problem with ignition. My babetta is not starting. I have already changed carburetor, installed ignition module with integrated coil, new spark plug, cables... there is a spark but motor is not starting :( any idea?
Hello. That’s interesting… Does the spark plug have a strong enough, healthy spark? When you remove the spark plug from the head, is it wet, are you getting fuel? When you pour gas under the spark plug, does the engine start for the second? If yes, there is a problem only with getting fuel… If no, is the ignition set correctly? I also encountered that the new ignition coil with integrated module (GYT) that you can buy did not work. And don’t get enough spark. You need to have good spark under pressure in cylinder. Even sometimes the ignition stator itself is to blame on which the engine spred sensor (small piece encased in epoxy, with wire) fails…

Now is starting ;) it was getting fake air before carburetor... but now i have another problem... i didn't open motor before but i see that some parts on clutch side are welded together so there is no clutch at all and it's running only high rpm's. Need to order parts and do general restoration of motor...
If you want, send me some photos of engine and I will try to help you. It’s possible that you have original 1 speed engine from Babetta 215.

Hello, almost all the parts are available on www.motorenparts.com and jawaparts.com Motoren is a Slovak shop and JawaParts is Czech, I don’t have any problems with both of them and they are also sending worldwide. Then I ordering parts from Motozolzso.sk and Motomax.cz but I’m not sure if they are sending worldwide. 🙂

Hello. Black paint on all the parts is RAL 9005. But blue paint don’t have any equivalent in RAL code. That color was just a leftover from a car I painted in past, and it was mixed in SPIES HECKER center for I think some Mercedes, year approximately +-2004, if I remember correctly. I will try to find an original mixing paint code for you if you are interested. 🙂
Mopeds are like fat girls, they’re a lot of fun until you get caught by your friends.
