Man, im an ex-account sales manager for Bang and let me just tell ya. Things were pretty crazy over there. Over all actually a pretty cool place to work but dude, the CEO was nuts. We had a Christmas party one year where he flew everyone out to Florida and in his speech said that he was happy everyone was there for him. Dude, we came for the party not you. His biggest mistake was handing over distribution for Bang to Pepsi. That's when everything tanked. Not great management either that kept threatening to fire us if we didn't hit numbers every month. The entire branch I worked out ended up being liquidated. (Take that ---- and your "If you make yourself indispensable then the company will always take care of you" bs) Edit: Charlie if you're curious at all to know any inside questions I'd be happy to let you know. Some pretty crazy stuff happened like the Christmas parties having open bars and women flashing everyone while Mr. Worldwide himself was performing. Or the time when my general manager told me to wait in the conference room, closed the door and said he'd fight me cause he thought I was talking behind his back. Edit #2 : Some of yall missing the point. It might be "cool" but the flashing is sexual harassment. If it was dudes it'd be completely different. This was also encouraged and written off. CEO was nuts because of the stuff he'd tell us for our meetings (if it isn't obvious in his videos) the party example was me referring to his narcissism. There is 100% a caffeine issue going on in society rn. As you mentioned, drinks like Bang, Reign, even Blck rifle coffee has 300mg of caffeine. There’s now caffeine seltzer water, caffeinated gum, granola bars, etc…. I know multiple people who can put down multiple cans of bang per day, for years, and not be over energized. Our tolerances are slowly being jacked up while the concentrations get higher. I’ve since moved away from those daily cans of energy drink, now reserved for special occasions(also, I did buy Bang over others due to the creatine claims, I felt and saw a physical difference on/off the bang train). Even healthy, young adults who are dedicated to fitness will drink one or two cans, coupled with “pre-workout”, which is just powdered caffeine. Monster may have more lawsuits or whatever, but they’ve also been around the longest, right? I’ve never looked it up, but I’m my experience in northern New England over the last 20 years, Red Bull and Monster were the OG energy drinks. Bang only appeared in my area ten ish years ago. Red Bull maintains a respectable concentration of like, 70mg/8oz can,so only a little more than coffee. But, bang has at least twice that per. It’s going to be interesting to see in some years if heart complications in young adults increases.
Yeah I'm 22 and I got addicted to energy drinks for a few months and it was AWFUL. I have ADHD and I was trying to self-medicate with caffeine and it spiraled so that I was drinking 300mg every day. Now I also only drink energy drinks on special occasions and I'm on actual ADHD meds. It's much better. I don't take my Vyvanse on my days off and I don't get withdrawals and irritability the way I did with caffeine.
Yeah man I can go through 2-4 cans of bang in a single work shift. I'm 4 years away from being 30 so I really need to stop drinking this crap before it's too late
It’s a guarantee coupled with how many people down bangs and then immediately hit nicotine to start their mornings ☠️ Plus the amount of people who have actual physical withdrawal symptoms from caffeine that make them go drink caffeine to get rid of it is crazy too, no shame in it either too because it’s become accepted and acceptable :(
Its insane. I see people at work who pound 2-3 cans of shit garbage and are still "tired." When bang first came out i remember trying it and it was way too much caffeine for me, and my friends who drank energy drinks daily agreed. But now they have gotten used to it so they drink bang or anything else on the regular.
He talks about how Monster has caused heart attacks but didn't talk about how Bang has 300 mg of caffeine while Monster has somewhere around 160 to 180 mg. Obviously Bang is more potentially dangerous for your heart in terms of caffeine dosage. I'm glad Charlie pointed this out in the video.
@@bigbearkat2010 In another dimension? My friends dad passed away from a mainly monster. He used to drink about 3-6 cans a day. It was his main source of consumption. He would have stacks of garbage bags full of monster. Took him roughly 6 years of continuous consumption before he died. But he had lots of health complications prior to from kidney stones and lots of dramatic changes in his heart rates.
Wow thats alot per day. I used to drink 2-3 per day but ive lessened mine to just one a day. 6 cans is almost the same amount of caffeine than 3 Bang energy drinks.
I'm so glad I'm organs cannot handle energy drinks and give me diarrhea because I know a lot of people who drink 3 cans a day of energy drinks at least. I have a friend who quit them now but he used to always shake all the time because of them
When my mum first called paramedics and it was discovered she had atrial fibrillation, one of the first things she was asked was if she’d had any energy drinks. She’s in her 60s, but apparently it had been such a common cause of those sorts of health issues in people. I think this might’ve been around when some extra caffeinated versions of energy drinks were being promoted too so maybe that was part of it, but it was made very clear to her that energy drinks were potentially quite dangerous. They didn’t just ask if she’d been drinking coffee or other caffeinated beverages; it was specifically energy drinks they’d asked about. People who drink multiple cans per day of that stuff worry me.
Way I see it is Bang and Reign are to get you through days after sleepless nights and you really should not be having more than one of those per day. Energy drinks are for when a coffee won't cut it, not used in place of coffee.
@@SirHusky654 I also think some people feel they can’t function without coffee or other caffeinated beverages because they’ve developed an addiction, and if they quit for long enough then they’d find they function just as well or even better without it. I feel that way especially about those who say they’re unpleasant to be around before caffeine. Or some people are unknowingly using caffeine to self-medicate conditions like ADHD or fatigue disorders. Many of which can contribute to people having more sleepless nights, so that can create unhealthy cycles. Did you know sleep apnoea increases risk of heart disease? To my knowledge the reasons for that aren’t known, but many who are exhausted throughout the day reach for the caffeine, as you point out. I do agree with you though that in moderation then, for healthy people, these beverages are fine and healthy. And I understand needing that caffeine kick after being up all night, though for me I’d likely have a Pepsi Max or a strong tea because I personally don’t drink either energy drinks or coffee (just not a fan of the taste or smell).
I used to drink nearly 4L of energy drink everyday and yeah it's really not good for you. But no joke they taste awesome. I wish they stripped out all the caffeine and harmful stuff, I'm okay with the sugar-free versions.
@@nrXic I remember when Monster became popular and I thought it tasted “good for an energy drink” And then the zero sugar variants came out and I wrote them off when the sweetener aftertaste hit. The issue isn’t the caffeine in the drink, which is why they hadn’t asked if she drinks lots of coffee or caffeine from other beverages. Caffeine isn’t a cause of AFIB and can be a protective factor however, all the shit they put in there to compound the “energy effects” is dodgy and not well understood.
People will fall for it, nobody has incentive to point it out either. The Medical field is filled with fake reports that other genuine researchers cite and imagine the negative effects on us that can't understand this and those that can get no credit for calling out bullshit.

Less than a week ago I had what felt like a heart attack at work. I was 2/3rds of the way through a bang energy, recently switched from coffee to them. I would only drink one on days when I had work. I thought 300 mg caffeine and sugar free from bang would be healthier than the 900+ mg caffeine I had been drinking before I switched. Had breakfast, had a full thing of liquid death before drinking the bang. Wasn't dehydrated and was literally trying to be healthier. The part where the results where the "exact opposite" happened, was specifically talking about dogs. As evident by the header and this line in the paragraph, "In both groups of dogs, the ventricular fibrillation threshold was reduced even further when caffeine was administered." This is only for the dogs as throughout the human section, it talks about how it has little to no effect either way. This is evident in the conclusion section of the human section when it is said, "some data today suggest that caffeine effects are present, but the prevailing evidence shows no increase in arrhythmia." In other words, caffeine does not have an effect on arrhythmia.
(Take that ---- and your "If you make yourself indispensable then the company will always take care of you" bs)
Edit: Charlie if you're curious at all to know any inside questions I'd be happy to let you know.
There was alot of office romances/hook ups including with married couples. Inappropriate comments towards the Fuel team(bang girls) from employees and management. SOME of these girls were just girls trying to pay their bills and what not that didn't enjoy the attention but it was a super easy job. Just saying there was a ton more dirt under the surface than any other job I've worked at and I've worked at a bunch of jobs.

It’s a guarantee coupled with how many people down bangs and then immediately hit nicotine to start their mornings ☠️
Plus the amount of people who have actual physical withdrawal symptoms from caffeine that make them go drink caffeine to get rid of it is crazy too, no shame in it either too because it’s become accepted and acceptable :(
Its insane. I see people at work who pound 2-3 cans of shit garbage and are still "tired." When bang first came out i remember trying it and it was way too much caffeine for me, and my friends who drank energy drinks daily agreed. But now they have gotten used to it so they drink bang or anything else on the regular.

@@bigbearkat2010 In another dimension? How do you guys drink that stuff my God I feel bad for drinking a cup of coffee everyday 😅
@@nrXic I remember when Monster became popular and I thought it tasted “good for an energy drink”
And then the zero sugar variants came out and I wrote them off when the sweetener aftertaste hit.
But then brands like Bang, G-Fuel, and Celsius hit the market and were more delicious than original Mtn Dew while lacking sweetener aftertaste; I wish Pepsi and Coca-Cola would find out how so normal zs sodas taste can taste that good
The issue isn’t the caffeine in the drink, which is why they hadn’t asked if she drinks lots of coffee or caffeine from other beverages. Caffeine isn’t a cause of AFIB and can be a protective factor however, all the shit they put in there to compound the “energy effects” is dodgy and not well understood.

That drum fill he did was one of the "Easiest" fills for beginners to learn to look cool 😎 😂
I use to love the taste of bang but I stopped drinking it over a year ago and quit for good since I got pregnant. I feel so much better not drinking energy drinks, just black coffee for me.
"It's not unique to bang"
- Charles White, 2022
Between the fashion, his hand gestures, the unhealthy relationship with his partner, and his sense of spirituality, I believe Jack Owoc is this universe's Doctor Strange. We have stayed very far from the source material, but the signs are still there.
mental illness
Weird
Doctor Strange was my first thought when I saw his fashion too XD
I keep forgetting Charlie is almost an expert on this type of stuff
@Hannah Smith I think it was specifically sports medicine & nutrition iirc.
If he has a degree in nutrition, that makes it embarrassing that he doesn't see how creatyl-l-leucine may possibly behave differently biologically from the two components that were covalently bonded together by a peptide bond.
@@stevenk113 did you watch the vid? Not only did he repeatedly say that what he was talking from memory and that it might not be true. I also even mentioned that he is almost an expert because despite his degree he is a full time streamer and doesn't really have a use for his degree. So he may know what he's talking about more than me, but he is no authority figure in the health sphere.
He completely misinterpreted a sentence in a study to mean the EXACT OPPOSITE of what the study concluded.
If he’s an expert in anything it’s surface level research to confirm his biases.
@@underscore_d.t Although he was wrong you are wrong as well. Now before I talk anymore I want to say not a professional and I'll basically just regurgitate the info in the study so if someone were to be like, "no actually it is this, not this," I am purely reading from the study, go flame me about my opinion part if you want to.
It sucks that he lied but I don't think it's a big deal as in the article it even talks about how 94 percent of doctors recommended cutting back caffeine for palpitation effected persons. So, I don't really blame Charlie for not accurately presenting facts on something that doesn't actually have any bearing either way and to "disprove" one part. Again, if you start looking at other studies and tell me I'm wrong go ahead because I wouldn't be surprised.
0:20 When you have Charlie struggling to find an adjective with how bad you messed up, you must have gone too far
2:27 he looks like the embodiment of greed in that suit
I almost had a heart attack when I finished drinking a bang when I worked at Amazon 4 years ago. That stuff was strong
Same I had one can and I felt my heart literally hurting I was so scared that I tought I was going to die🤣 I will never drink that garbage again

He looks like Super Dave had a baby with Vince McMahon
I don't know Charlie, that drum set in the background really made me think he is trustworthy and relatable. I think I am going to buy all the bang I can afford and do my own studies on super creatine!
For real I didn't believe a word he said until he started tearing it up behind the kit
While working retail last Christmas, I drank 2 bangs during a break and almost imma die started puking and thought I was gonna see Christ. Like they have a ridiculous amount of caffeine, but tbh drinking 2 of them in one sitting was a stupid decision on my part.
People seem to think that they can skull these bad boys one after another and then get confused when adverse effects happen
self burn, nice
You shouldn't even drink a whole one in one sitting. They have way too much caffeine

@@nousername2942 I’ve never had a problem with drinking just one. I don’t do it every day though, only when it feels necessary

L-Leucine is an essential amino acid known for maintaining muscle mass it's found in everyday foods like Salmon, Brown Rice, Eggs, Nuts and Beef.
I had a customer in Walmart ask where all the bang went. That was when I first noticed it was gone, and told her it was probably just a temporary shortage. I didn't know THIS was going on.

I don't drink energy drinks in general precisely because I drank a whole can of Bang to try and stay awake at work, and almost having a heart attack. My chest pain was immense that day. From now on, I'll just stick to Celsius and soda.
I remember a friend of mine having a heart attack because of bang energy.
He drank a full case over a week and ended up in hospital before having a heart attack. He's alright now though.
By a case do you mean a 6 pack or 12 pack?

I don't often have bang, but when I do after an all nighter and I need to work or something, that shit works like no other energy drink.
Yeah idk if thats a good thing though lamo
G-Fuel carbonated cans work better. 300mg of caffeine and works all day for me. Bang tastes horrible.
I remember the first time I tried a bang. I had only drank half the can and my entire body was buzzing and shaking. That stuff is potent lol
Have you heard the wonderful news about cocaine?
@@BigBlackGlock Bang Blue and Yellow Limoncello is the best flavor energy drink I’ve ever had. But on the other hand, I can’t defend bang for its other flavors such as “Whole lotta chocolotta” which is literally a chocolate flavored bang. Rancid.

I drank bang for the b12 and the fact that i was out of adhd meds and was inbetween insurance. These little heffers was able to keep me focused almost as much as my meds. Now I have them back, the meds, I dont drink them anymore.
