    Hey everyone!!
So here is the season finale of The Book of Boba!! I feel like this was one of those fairly rare times in the Star Wars univese where something ended with a happy (not main character death filled) ending and was open ended, therefore I would be okay if it ended just there! But I highly doubt they would do that because of just how good it was!! (SPOILER ALERT???) Loved seeing some individuals reuinite and seeing everyone work together warmed my heart:) there were a couple times where it seemed nothing was going to go right (classic Star Wars) and then they hit you with some event twists! Either way, I loved The Book of Boba, and I cannot wait for more.
Thank you guys for joining me on this journey!!

Sometimes I really wonder how much Lucas meant Tatooine to "be" Arrakis. I'm not so versed in Dune lore, but as it's happening apparently more than 10 000 years to our future and Star Wars happened a long time ago, I suppose we could imagine it's actually the same.

4:45 So these large bio-dome enclose the Mandalorian cities protecting them from the harsh planet. Sundari is the capital of Mandalore but it hasn't been confirmed if this was Sundari being destroyed, most likely was the city. We have no idea how many died but Mandalore as a population of around four million with Sundari housing most of these people.
4:58 The robots who attacked his family in the flashbacks were CIS (The Confederacy of Independent Systems) Super Battle Droids which were used in the Clone Wars first appearing in Attack of the Clones. The droids you see here on Mandalore are Imperial security droids like K-2SO from Rogue One or a similar Droid designed for more combat roles. That scene gave off heavy Future War Terminator vibes as well.
7:37 This robot design was created for the 2019 game Jedi Fallen Order which i highly recommend playing.
8:23 This is a N1 Starfighter first seen in The Phantom Menace used by the forces on the planet Naboo. Young Anakin also piloted the ship as well in the Battle of Naboo blowing up a Droid control ship from the inside. This ship has a more 1950s retro race car look to it something Lucas was highly inspired by when creating the tech for Naboo.

21:43 Cad Bane. He is a notorious bounty hunter from the planet Duro. He was mentored by Jango Fett in his early career and got a reputation for being a notorious and lethal bounty hunter. Sometime after, Darth Maul contracted him and some other bounty hunters to help Maul acquire a Jedi Padawan named “Eldra Kaitis” from an auction. Bane first appeared in the American animated series “Star Wars: The Clone Wars”, where he was reached out by Darth Sidious to obtain a holocron (A cube that holds secret Jedi information.) from the Holocron Vault, he also held senators hostage, later for the senators to be rescued by Anakin Skywalker, and attempted to kidnap Supreme Chancellor Palpatine on Naboo, and stopped by Skywalker (AGAIN.) And in “The Clone Wars” spin-off series, “Star Wars: The Bad Batch”, after the events of “Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith”, Bane was employed by Kaminoan Prime Minister Lama Su to retrieve a renegade genetically unmodified female clone known as “Omega”. Intercepting Clone Force 99, AKA The Bad Batch on the junk planet Bracca. Bane then later fought with a young Fennec Shand and meanwhile, Omega escaped in a flight pod, making her way back to the squad.

For anyone that doesn’t know who Cad Bane is (blue squidward); he was a bounty hunter back in Pre Empire days who wanted to prove himself to be the best bounty hunter but Jango Fett (Boba’s Clone daddy) held that title above him until his untimely death from the Jedi, Mace Windu (Samuel decapitating Jackson). After Jango’s death Cad Bane took Boba under his wing to train him to become a great bounty hunter so he could later kill him and once again prove himself to be the best bounty hunter in the galaxy over the Fett’s. After and unreleased scene from Clone Wars, Boba and Cad had a shootout that ended in the iconic dent in Boba’s helmet and the metal plate placed on Cad’s head. The fact this never was released made for an amazing shootout and more intense for us fans to finally see it happen here in The Book of Boba Fett. I do wish they had Fennec involved with the drama between them only because she had foiled Cad’s plans as well and caused hatred toward her in Rebels but it was still awesome to see Boba get the “win”. Also, fun fact, Fennec voiced the Disney princess Mulan.

Been waiting for these episode reactions. 😊
Episode 5 - We got to see what Din Djarin aka Mando has been up to since the end of "The Mandalorian" season 2. Leading up to being recruited by Fennec Shand to help Boba.
Episode 6 - Loved seeing our little Grogu again! Honestly, when I watched the episode when it first came out I didn't expect to see him. I figured that we were going to get Mando back in about halfway through the episode. And mentioning that he went to see Grogu. But I was extremely happy not only to see Grogu, but we saw Cobb Vanth(the Marshall from the 1st episode of season 2 of The Mandalorian). We saw Grogu training with Luke Skywalker. We saw R2-D2. We saw Ahsoka Tano and Luke having a conversation together. Her mentioning to Luke how he is like his father. Loved that! And we saw the arrival of Cad Bane!!! This was one of my favorite episodes.
Episode 7 - Loved it! Grogu made is choice. I had a feeling that he would choose the deskar chainmail. Loved the Boba and Mando team up. Din and Grogu's reunion was all kinds of cuteness. Boba Fett riding the rancor was so epic! Loved how Grogu ended up saving Mando twice, once from the Droid and from the rancor. I think that Cad Bane is still alive.

I have to correct you. The droids in episode 5 which wiped out mandalore are imperial security droids. The droids that attacks Dins village and killed off his family were B2 Super Battledroids of the Seperatist alliance. Dins Family was wiped out during the clone wars. Mandalore was wiped out many years later by the empire during the galactic Civil War

I am so glad they didn't kill off Cobb Vanth and Krrsantan. They've grown to become two of my favorite characters, and I hope we see them again soon.
However, I'm not convinced that they killed off Cad Bane. I'm fine if they did, but he is originally from animated shows and they finally brought him on screen. Not to mention that it just takes some other villain to heal him in a bacta tank.
In the meantime, they just announced that Christopher Lloyd from Back to the Future will join The Mandalorian season 3.

Bane was Fett's past; a Chapter that has been closed.
Fett the Hunter can't be Fett the Ruler while there is any thread pulling him back to that life.
Bane wasn't a thread, he was a bundle of heavy chains.
They worked together; much of Fett's dark past died in the sand.

Tbh as an EU Fan ( which is still my headcanon ) Bobf was such an fangasm. Everything from the Naboo Starfighter to those Scorpion droids in the Last Episode ( which where Legends Material before Bobf ) was so mindblowing. Me and the Boys Always do Discord sittings for everything new StarWars does, starting with Mandolorian season 1. For the start of Book of Bobs Fett we even made a full chronoligical rewatch starting with Episode 1 and 2, watched Clone wars in the correct timelines, than Episode 3 followed by Solo and Rebels. Then Rouge One and the Classic triology. And then after that Mando season 1 and 2 again. Was a blast and an sick half year project I musst say. But damn boi it felt great and was a good time.
    Edit.
Great react. Just discovered your Channel some day's ago with the Episode 3 react. Will follow the Grind. Oh and you really really should watch the Clone wars. It fills Up so many information gaps like the fate of mandalore, Ahsoka as an character overall, it makes Episode 3 Hurt nearly twice as much as it does on it's own alone. Agreed the start is a Bit... Slow. A bit Hit or miss with the arcs in the 1st and 2nd season. But starting with season 3 holy shit, you are in for such an amazing ( and always darker getting ) time

I think ( Especially because it's a Filoni Project ) they are trying to somewhat bring back Expended Universe Boba Fett from after Episode 6. Boba Always Had ( even in Disney Canon ) still am Codex of Honor which He held dearly. Which we are seeing in Bobf cause we see more through his Perception. In EU he would Not become the new daimyo of tatooine but become the new mandalore, building it up from ground more or less and shaping it through his virtues. When He met Leia again in the Yuzhan Vong wars he even excused himself for the bad time she had at Jabbas Palace. Dave took the EU Boba Storyline, wrote it anew in another setting more or less in all the way he could in the Disney Canon. Boba btw straight up hates drugs in EU. Jabba gave him the right to have a night with Leia which he rejected more or less. He still had a night with Leia but they would just sit there and talk the whole night, in which he showed her his view onto the galaxy and made his Codex of Honor clear to her which she even accepted. She was still mad at him cause of the whole thing 'bout Han. But she also somewhat accepted his virtues. Even asking him to join the aliance in a Matter of facts

Spice is the Wars equivalent of opium. Enough to get someone high(a spice dream) on it's own. But is a key factor in making death sticks (Such as the ones that Elan Sleazebango tried to sell Obi-Wan prior to The first Battle Of Geonosis). It is mined on Kessel which is a short jump to Obi-Diah the planet home of the Pykes

Hey, Vicky! Meanwhile, on "The Mandalorian"... Lol. Favreau sneaks in a prelude to Season 3 and steals Boba's thunder! Here's my take on EPISODE 5:
A Klatoonian meat-packing plant turned slaughterhouse as Din whips out the DARKSABER collecting a bounty!
The blade glances against his unarmored thigh and sears his skin!
Din helps himself to a dog's-head while the packers help themselves to New Republic credits.
    A DYSON RING!
A DYSON SPHERE or RING encircles a STAR like Nidavellir in "Avengers: Infinity War" or the "Star Trek: The Next Generation" episode "Relics" with Scotty.
A BISHOP RING is a spinning habitat like 'Medina' on "The Expanse", 'Cooper Station' in "Interstellar", 'Babylon 5' station, 'Elysium' station, the 'Halo Array' or 'Ringo Vinda' on "Clone Wars" small enough to orbit a PLANET or large enough to encircle a planet which uses centrifugal force to create artificial gravity.
Impressive low-key one-shot of Din limping on the ring to the elevator into the club and back out to the elevator again!
The Ring's Guild Master is a gregarious ISHI TIB!
Din follows infrared symbols to a MYTHOSAUR icon indicating a Mandalorian covert on the Ring's underside.
THE ARMORER played by Emily Swallow and PAZ VIZSLA played by Jon Favreau are two of only three survivors of GIDEON's pogrom on NEVARRO!
The Armorer schools Din on the saber's creator, TARRE VIZSLA, gives her unflattering opinion of BO-KATAN KRYZE, smelts his spear and crafts a gift for GROGU.
Regarding ATTACHMENTS, Jedi and Mandalorians have polar opposite philosophies.
THE NIGHT OF A THOUSAND TEARS! We finally see the Purge and Glassing of Mandalore in 19 BBY with floating Imperial probe droids and K-2SO units from "Rogue One" stalking the scorched earth. The Empire may have been around for only 30 years but it caused a lot of damage.
Din struggles to master the saber and Paz challenges him for the blade.
Din prevails but is expelled from DEATH WATCH for having removed his helmet! Atonement is possible only through BAPTISM in waters no longer accessible since the Purge.
Hot tip about a new 'Razor Crest' sends Din to Tatooine.
Starliner TSA droid strips Din of a caseload of weapons from whistling birds to the Darksaber.
A Rodian youngling puts Din in mind of Grogu.
Din saves PELI MOTTO played by Amy Sedaris from a voracious WOMP RAT infestation in her Mos Eisley hangar.
A BD droid from "Fallen Order" has joined Treadwell, the Pit Droid trio from "Phantom Menace" and the R5 astromech with the bad motivator from "A New Hope".
Peli's hot tip isn't for a 'Razor Crest' but for a NABOO STARFIGHTER from "Phantom Menace".
Peli dated a Jawa and they're FURRY! Lol.
FUNNIEST BIT: Peli turning down the amorous advances of a Jawa because she's working on herself at the moment. Lol.
Peli and Din refurbish and retrofit the vehicle with a souped-up engine for going superfast at sub-light speeds.
He takes it for a spin through part of the pod race course from "Phantom Menace" and buzzes a departing starliner getting the attention of the same Rodian youngling from before.
CAPTAIN CARSON TEVA played by Paul Sun-Hyung Lee pulls him over but recognizes Din's voice!
Overzealous Lt. Reed is played by Max Lloyd-Jones who doubled for Luke's body for "The Mandalorian" Season 2 finale!
Teva has some questions about Din's Imperial entanglements but Din's got better things to do and streaks away in a flash!
Fennec shows up to remind us what show we're really watching and offers to hire Din to fight the Pykes.
Din says he'll help Fett for free but needs to see Lucasfilm's biggest moneymaker first to move some Baby Yoda merch.
As I'm not a gear-head who drools over vehicle cutaways and as I was enjoying Fett's story, this wasn't my favorite episode but I'm certain Boba haters were creaming themselves at the mere mention of Grogu.
Nonetheless, directed very well by Bryce Dallas Howard who has become part of the regular rotation and, of course, written by Jon Favreau.
Hey, Vicky! Guest star-a-palooza this week! Favreau and Filoni pull out all the stops and show the powers that be just how it's done! This is my take on EPISODE 6:
COBB VANTH played by Timothy Olyphant returns to lay down the law against some Pykes "Deadwood"-style on the outskirts of Mos Pelgo!
Din travels to a lush green world.
R2-D2 greets him and guides him through bamboo groves!
Force-lift fake-out reveals a swarm of ant-like droids laying the stonework for a rustic Jedi temple much like those on Ahch-To from "The Last Jedi".
Artoo shuts down to shut Din up while the droids quickly assemble a bamboo bench for their guest.
    LUKE SKYWALKER and GROGU!
Mark Hamill voices an incredible deep fake and body double rendering of Luke that looks scarily real if more "A New Hope"-era than "Return of the Jedi"-era.
Grogu's still got a taste for one-eyed frogs but Luke blows the little guy's mind when he force-lifts a buffet's-worth of them from a nearby pond!
    Love the little Force-hops!
    Talk of YODA!
ORDER 66 from Grogu's POV! Still no revelation as to who saved him...
AHSOKA TANO played by Rosario Dawson startles Din from a doze and dissuades him from reuniting with Grogu.
Din leaves the Armorer's gift with Ahsoka and departs but not before being sensed by Grogu who poignantly reaches out to his starfighter as it takes off in the distance.
    TRAINING MONTAGE!
The student has become the teacher as Luke echoes Yoda's aphorisms, exercises and wisdom.
Jedi training is like a gymnastics class! Lol.
Luke breaks out his lightsaber for some sword practice to dazzle Grogu.
Using one of those training laser modules that Kenobi employed in "A New Hope", Luke puts Grogu through his hopping paces as the sphere snipes at him.
A winded Grogu cheats a bit and shorts out the module.
Luke feels Grogu is REMEMBERING more than he is LEARNING.
Ahsoka sees ANAKIN in Luke! Swapping Anakin stories is a scene I'd LOVE to see!
Ahsoka leaves Din's gift with Luke and departs for her own show or to lend Din a hand?
BOBA FETT gets a scene in his own show! Will wonders never cease?
Din arrives at Jabba's palace for a strategy session with Fett, Fennec, Krrsantan and the mod squad.
Pykes are running rampant as Ithorian Mayor Mok Shaiz is off-world on a "scheduled vacation" according to the major domo who is being bullied into compliance.
Din has an idea on where to recruit bodies.
En route to Mos Pelgo, Din passes a Jawa Sandcrawler with a KRAYT DRAGON skull strapped to the top! It's gotta be the one they killed on Season 2 of "The Mandalorian".
In the Mos Pelgo saloon run by the same Weequay proprietor played by W. Earl Brown, another "Deadwood" alum, Din makes his pitch to Vanth.
Vanth is rightfully reluctant to commit civilians to a battle with well-armed gangsters even if there could be a windfall for the town but he promises to put the issue before the community.
As Din departs, the hackles go up on the back of Vanth's neck as a stranger with a slouch hat purposefully strides in from the desert. Hey, that's what the title is about! Lol.
CAD BANE, the deadly Duro bounty hunter, debuts in live-action voiced by Corey Burton who portrayed the animated iteration from "Clone Wars" and "The Bad Batch"!
His gravelly voice offers Vanth a way out if he promises neutrality against the Pykes but it's time for a Sergio Leone showdown!
Quicker than a flash, blasters are blazing! Vanth gets clipped and his deputy gets dusted. Bane claims Pelgo for the Pykes! Is Vanth down for good?
Two Pykes walk into MADAM GARSA's club with a camtono. Her Twi'lek servers make the customary offer of a helmet polish bribe but they decline and leave abruptly.
The breathtaking Jennifer Beals looking more delicious than ever watches them leave with some apprehension before the camtono they left behind EXPLODES destroying the club! No, Jennifer! Say it ain't so! The message is clear: do business with Fett and die!
    GROGU'S CHOICE!
Luke presents Grogu with Din's beskar chainmail gift and Yoda's lightsaber. Foundling or Padawan? Mandalorian or Jedi? Attachment or detachment?
What Master Luke fails to see is that there is PRECEDENT for both: TARRE VIZSLA!
And Din could certainly use some Jedi training, too, if he's ever going to master the DARKSABER!
The big question is how can they possibly wrap up this story in one episode or will it end as a cliffhanger tease for "The Mandalorian" Season 3?
Directed by DAVE FILONI and co-written by FILONI & FAVREAU!

Things I would change if I had the power to do so:
1 Show us the threat. The threat is meant to be the pyke syndicate and the spice and yet at no point were we shown what damage the spice was doing on Tatooine. Give us a reason to care about the people, show us what the people and Boba are truly up against.
    2. Ditch the vespa mod gang. They just were not effective in the story telling. What if it had been some of the more senior and respected members of that society that had approached Boba and spoken of their concerns for the youth of Tatooine and the spice? What if they saw Boba as the only hope to reclaim the lives of their children and for hope and a future? Instead we have some guy complaining about his water being stolen and some crap about their being no work... Consider my points in light of the previous episodes where they established how Boba now knew because of his time with the tuskans how important family is and the strength that is found in belonging to a tribe.
    3. It should have been that the CITY people of Tatooine not the people of free town help Boba drive away the Pykes. It was weak and detrimental to the story arc to not have some strong city characters come forward that could have raised a army to support Boba and these leaders could have eventually become Boba's Mayor etc..

They already brought him back from the dead in a sense (or at least as a surprise) to be in Bad Batch and again into this show, and I don't think they should do it again. He's an awesome character though, don't get me wrong

Hey, Vicky! A mixed-bag finale that was as chaotic as the entire series! The Good, the Bad and the Stupid. Here's my take on EPISODE 7:
Boba's back front and center in the ruins of MADAM GARSA's Sanctuary. Nobody made it. Is MAX REBO dead, too?
RIP to GARSA FWIP and Jennifer Beal's luscious lekku. I had hoped she would have played a more instrumental role as a moll, femme fatale, girl Friday or covert Queenpin in this gangster tale but she was reduced to window dressing whose presence I sorely missed. Much more could have been done with the character especially when you bother to hire a name actress for the part. A criminally misspent opportunity.
CAD BANE is freakin' awesome. Corey Burton's rasp and the digital snarl was pitch-perfect!
Ithorian Mayor Mok Shaiz is bunkered with the Pyke Capo in Mos Eisley but his TWO STOMACHS disagree with the violence committed against Garsa.
The Pyke Capo reveals their hand in the Tusken slaughter and Nikto framing. A ruthless elimination of two problems.
An X-wing arrives at PELI MOTTO's hangar in Mos Eisley greeted by BD, R5, Treadwell, the Pit droid trio and a Gonk droid.
It is piloted by ARTOO and carrying GROGU! He chose the BESKAR MAIL!
I personally did not care for this as it undid the significance of Luke's arrival at the end of "The Mandalorian" Season 2. I would have preferred AHSOKA joined the party.
    BAD, BAD STRATEGY!
Fennec lays out the troop deployment and it's a disaster waiting to happen! Fett's guys are all EXPOSED and SEPARATED without possibility of quick back-up. His entire plan is contingent on enemy NEUTRALITY and promised CIVILIAN reinforcements! He opts to abandon Jabba's FORTRESS and his FIRESPRAY to take the fight to the enemy but then, facing a numerically superior foe, he doesn't do any prep work such as laying booby traps, positioning his assets in secure redoubts, establishing choke points and fall-back positions, hiring professional muscle or readying a response against betrayal! It makes no sense! BOBA FETT AIN'T NO DUMMY!
See "Conan the Barbarian", "13 Assassins", "Seven Samurai", "Silverado" or "Home Alone"!
For opening parley, BANE GOADS FETT with the truth about the Tuskens but Fennec keeps his cool.
BETRAYAL! The Aqualish attack the mods, the Trandoshans attack Krrsantan and the Klatoonians attack the Gamorrean duo! I felt bad for the squealing pigs!
En route to Mos Eisley for a CHECKMATE MOVE, Fennec bails out the mods!
DIN DJARIN and BOBA FETT resolve to go out in a blaze of glory like BUTCH CASSIDY and THE SUNDANCE KID! This is the way!
Sh+tbag Major Domo offers to negotiate. Groveling is his specialty. Lol.
MANDALORIANS TAKE TO THE SKIES AND FIGHT BACK TO BACK! Whistling birds, knee rockets, wrist rockets, blasters! THIS IS THE WAY!!!
FREETOWN with the clutch save led by Weequay bartender W. Earl Brown now finally given the name TANTI!
Mods swoop in, Krrsantan limps in and the Pykes pull out to make way for shielded SCORPENEK droids! I thought for a moment the Wookiee was going down!
MORE IDIOCY! Rockets and Darksabers don't dent the Scorpenek shields so Fett flies to Jabba's to get his FIRESPRAY, right? No, of course not!
    Fett's forces in full retreat!
Krrsantan tries to crack the Scorpenek shields with his knuckledusters but the Wookiee takes a pounding!
Peli and Grogu arrive by rickshaw! Grogu leaps into Din's arms! Baby Yoda merch LEAPS OFF SHELVES!!!
The rickshaw goes end over end and Peli loses a tooth!
Like the Mythosaur of old, Boba arrives astride his RANCOR! EPIC FAN SERVICE!
TERRIBLE STRATEGY! How fast can a rancor run from Jabba's palace in the boonies to Mos Espa's city center? Answer: as fast as the screenwriters need it to! Why not use 'Slave1'?
RANCOR VS. SCORPENEK! A monstrous swipe sends the droid tumbling! Its lasers and pincers jab at the beast's hide! Intense pressure from the creature's clawed grip pierce the shields and make them more permeable! Din slips in with the Darksaber to slice off a turret! The rancor takes a salvo to the chest! Din is thrown and the droid nails him repeatedly with its pincers! As it lifts its forelegs for a killing blow, Grogu Force-snatches a joint-screw causing a leg to crumple! Still limping toward Din, the droid is seized by the rancor and savagely RIPPED IN HALF! Incredible sequence!
RANCOR VS. SCORPENEK: ROUND TWO! The pinned townsfolk get some sniper relief from Drash the mod and yokel Jo as Boba arrives atop his rancor! A swipe sends the droid smashing into a building that collapses on it but the droid emerges! It gets tossed into another wall but quickly rights itself! The droid jabs the creature's hide but gets a pincer ripped off and SHOVED THROUGH ITS CPU! Fett's forces give pursuit to the fleeing Pykes as the rancor smashes, tosses or eats any Syndicate man he can get his hands on!
Peli takes a shine to the cowering major domo who happily accepts her protection! Lol.
RANCOR VS. BANE! A jet of flame unseats Boba and sends the beast running in panic!
FETT VS. BANE! Boba's not a little boy anymore but Bane's still the quicker draw! He has Boba dead to rights until he gets swept off his feet by the gaffi stick and stabbed in the gut! Is this the end of Bane? I HOPE NOT! TODO has gotta be nearby ready to whisk him away and patch him up!
RAMPAGING RANCOR! Fett's forces find themselves blasting the beast that saved their bacon as it climbs a tower KING KONG-STYLE! Din tries to ride it but gets thrown and pounded through a rooftop! The rancor grabs him and tries to bite his head off but that beskar is a JAWBREAKER! Din flames the rancor's mouth indicating he's too spicy a meatball! Grogu steps in and FORCE-CALMS the creature with mellow theta waves Ezra Bridger-style! Tuckered out, Grogu takes a nap next to the snoozing behemoth.
CHECKMATE! In the only smart play of this entire fracas, Fennec cuts the head off all of Fett's adversaries in a move that would make Michael Corleone proud. She shoots the Klatoonian, Aqualish and Trandoshan Capos, garrotes the Ithorian Mayor and shanks the Pyke Capo!
The war's over but Fett barely survived! If the Pykes wanted, they could easily unseat him! He walks confidently about town accepting tribute but his position is just as precarious as before and he even expresses DISSATISFACTION with his new enterprise! Wait. What?
Din takes off with Grogu tapping the gear shift knob against his canopy so his daddy can hit the gas sending them rocketing through space much to Grogu's glee!
END-CREDIT SCENE: COBB VANTH lies in Boba's bacta tank awaiting body mod surgery by the cyborg technician from the mod parlor. Vanth will return!
Uninspired direction by Robert Rodriguez and lackluster screenplay by Jon Favreau. VERY MESSY.
I sure hope Din is returning Grogu to Luke because Grogu has tremendous power that requires mastery and Din himself could do with some intensive saber tutelage! To grow, these characters need to part for a time. The emotional resonance and sense of destiny elicited by "The Mandalorian" Season 2 finale has been dispelled much like how the Sequel trilogy nullified the significance of Vader's redemption.
I sure hope that Bane wasn't wasted on this or that we get to see him earlier in the timeline on "Andor" or "Kenobi".
Reportedly, there was chaos behind the scenes involving rewrites and reshoots. The schizophrenic nature of this series lends credence to the rumors. The finale felt slapdash and juvenile after a sober set-up and played out like a Saturday morning cartoon. Some beats were great, some effects were stupendous, some moments were awesome but, on balance, this show could have been an underworld epic rather than a half-baked shoot-'em-up! I can feel the spectre of Kathleen Kennedy exerting the last vestiges of her executive influence to sabotage this show. If true, she partially succeeded.

love how she cares more about baby Yoda than Luke Skywalker.
I've noticed and this is not me hating but I've always found it quite interesting lol.
a lot of new star wars reactors always like the droids more / secondary characters than the main ones like Luke /Vader.

I guess it has to do with the fact that we grew up with these characters so we're gonna go have an attachment.

I know a lot of people were disappointed with this show, but I really enjoyed it. My main beef was all the time spent with the "Mando & Grogu reuniting" sub-plot. It's not that it wasn't fun to watch, it's that it should've been in The Mandalorian Season 3, not in The Book Of Boba Fett. In a seven-episode season, devoting an episode and a half to setting up the next season of a different show was a dumb choice.

In reality, The Book of Boba Fett is only 5 episodes.

Can you imagine how much more difficult episode 7 would have been with a powerful and maneuverable gunship available to Boba? Also, every military commander knows, if you want to prevent civilian casualties and collateral damage, ensure the fighting is done in the urban streets. Controlling where the battle takes place isn't even an advantage. I love the mandalorian though, very happy we got to see intro to season 3 here. The only thing I didn't like about the series is why Boba was even in it, the only one doing any work and making sense was Fennec.

Luke sounds perfect. The reason people think his voice is strange is because it sounds dubbed in. This is intentional to make him stand out.

There are so many references to The Clone Wars series in these episodes that it's genuinely detrimental to the experience to have not seen it.

I still can't get over how they basically inserted RAYLAN GIVENS into the star wars universe! For those who haven't seen Justified, Raylan Givens is the greatest cowboy character on TV of the last 20 years and was played by Timothy Olyphant, the actor of Cobb Vanth. Pretty much the same character.

And just like that, the Mandalorian became more popular than Boba Fett in just a couple of years vs. decades of (in my opinion, unwarranted) hype.

    “It wasn’t really THAT bad”
Agreed., but you try telling that to a rapid fan base that takes issues to anything that doesn’t reach lofty demands.
It’s imperfect but I liked it, my main issues were that it could have handled Bane better (introduce him earlier/have a flashback in Boba’s vision of Bane training Boba), it introduced but didn’t properly utilize some cool characters (the Gamorreans, the Hutt twins) and how Mando and Grogu hijacked Boba’s show.
That said, I liked Boba’s arc of trying to find a balance between honoring his past/father while moving away from the toxic lifestyle that Bane/the Hutts represents which almost got him killed in the Sarlacc and towards one of communal respect that the Tuskens taught him. They nailed that part in the flashbacks but could have worked on it some more in the present (again not helped by his showing getting hijacked). Other than that I enjoyed Fennec, Black Krrsantan and Boba and Din’s evolving bond. I’m hoping they keep what worked with this show moving forward in the Disney+ shows while learning from the mistakes

*Dont get me wrong I love Din Djarin but when Boba guest starred on The Mandalorian the show didn’t hit the brakes on Din’s story, they found a way to showcase Boba’s character/story while moving his arc and the main story forward. Why they couldn’t have done the same here is beyond me

Season 2 is coming. But Grogu going back to Din at the end kind of undid the reason for the first 2 season of Mando. I would have rather him stay with Luke. Maybe reunite them in season 3 or 4 of Mando. Having Grogu have a bit more skill by then etc.
