Right? When I first started watching different TH-camrs like Potato, I thought these guys are geniuses. But every time I watch potato’s videos now I feel like watching my grandpa playing 😂. So slow, so much struggles, hard to watch😅. And I am not playing bbg by myself, so I understand that base game is slower, but still
@@ISTREBITL I think Potato has done just about everything there is to do in cvi6 single player. It seems like he tries to put himself in new situations in order to spice things up- and not just be max efficiency all the time... nontheless, yes it is hard to watch sometimes lmao. I just found this channel and I am definitely enjoying it more!
I ve recently started doubting that Herson is the most unfairly mistreated playeyr in civ history. And never in my life I was so WRONG. Of course Herson is the MOST UNFAIRLY MISTREATED PLAYER IN CIV HISTORY. Good game as always
Gaul should be banned from CPL permanently. He plays completely to grief your game. Specifically your game. Didn't try to win at all. Like the guy who destroys his owns peoples food in a famine. Disgraceful. Should be permabanned.
Was it not a mistake to not put a harbor from newcastle-upon-tyne between the harbors of London and Leeds? It would have been a +3 harbor with the gov plaza, and would have boosted Leeds’ harbor up to +4.
I'm curious, is there a reason the anonymizer doesn't just name each player after their civ and/or leader? This is from an outside perspective but it seems like having to cross-reference certain bits of UI that only refer to a player as Loki or w/e to see which civ it's referring to is more hassle than it's worth
For most griefers, the game is already lost for them so they try to bring some people with them. Ruin their games like theirs are already ruined. You can see from their stats that they are already dying. They have like 1-3 cities.
I would have loved to see a game where the author was another England. When his industrial districts were always broken because of the spy. I would be happy to figure out how to deal with these kinds of problems.
If you don't mind me asking: You stopped settling after 9 cities and never settled the land to the west beyond the strait, although there being space, fresh water and no immediate other civ. I would be interested in your reasoning for that decision.
Amenities, people look to always have +5 amenities (or +4 in BBG, I don't know, basically the max) in all their cities. Since there's limited number of luxuries over the map, if you count in also every city being covered by Entertainment district (but discount Colosseum, since not everyone can get it) there's optimal number of cities you can have while having max amenities. And if you don't go max amenities exactly, then you have subpar cities in output, so then you have to settle even more so you're juts on the threshold of next drop off, on +8% output, which is a LOT more cities, often not settleble easily. To cut the long story short, they prefer 8/9/10 cities with +16% (base game is +20% I think) output than 12 cities in which 6 will have only +8%.
It really feels like it was Gaul that was griefing you the entire game. The city state thing was the clear factor, and he was for sure using spies all game on you.
I wonder if he interacted with the in game chat more if he'd get teamed up on less. It's uncanny how much he gets teamed up on to the point where i feel like there must be some explanation. Like psychologically people wont feel as bad about killing someone who hasnt said anything whos simming alone and doing well. Or maybe they just know it's him and are doing it for content
Gaul not fighting Aztec for 2nd is really cowardly. It might not even have let Herson take 3rd, but the lack of game theory is infuriating to see. France griefing 2nd instead of 1st is also nonsensical and cringe
The extra production value you put into this vod, with the intro and the tool tips when you reference a belief or wonder, were much appreciated!
Effective usage of feodalism builders is the explanation for that production, I think
thanks for ruining civ 6 youtubers for me
i can't bear to watch single player civ 6 players anymore, this content is just too superior

Just saw you miss oxford university by 1 turn
I don't see how this griefing and lowkey teaming coud be seen funny. Good to see Herson keeps his cool and maintains his game regardless.
Most tilting spy shenanigans I've seen in a while
One of the rare occasions that the Stupas would be useful, it would allow you to settle another 2 cities while keeping +5 amenities.
I only had a single holy site in my empire, so I could've made precisely one stupa.

Grieving is allowed in FFA just like early irrel warring.
The fact u dont tilt is crazy
Love the reveal that it was Dave the whole time, because of course it was
Dave truly is the goat

It would have been a +3 harbor with the gov plaza, and would have boosted Leeds’ harbor up to +4.
Yeah I just had a complete blindspot for that. I would've placed that harbor as that city's second district if I could do this game over again tbh

I asked this before - they need the anon names before they select their leader. Think they're needed for the pick and ban phase.
@@bobby_hmm Ah damn
Y'all just a barrel of crabs with Babylon and Gaul laughing
Where is Andrew?
pretty sure he got banned for cheating lol
Honestly if it was me Id say its time for Herson dark era of revenge against griefers
Draft explained, we did it chat!
can someone explain what is there to gain from such early griefs, like isn't that just trolling?
You make sure the person you greif can't win
@@notZabami but what is there to gain for the person griefing isn't your goal to maximize the elo gain?

why not use a spy to remove some envoys from the city state btw
Isn't is possible to use a VPN so you can't be identified by ping?
the amount of teaming on this game its insane lol
Yeah... no kidding... game is dumb.
is it possible for you to have a trajan game? im still new to the game and its still the only civ I have played.

Probably amenities, as they were super scarce throughout the game, and a bigger empire means keeping high amenities is harder
probly amenities
Amenities, people look to always have +5 amenities (or +4 in BBG, I don't know, basically the max) in all their cities. How do you get production from your farms? Because when I build them, they always provide me only food.
in bbg water mills give 1 production to farm and have no building restriction
watermill in the city center
Chose the Sun God pantheon....
this was absolutely disgusting, france should be banned from online games for this shit, he dident even try to hide it...
couldnt you have contested mogadishu? was close too and only had a few envoys in it
Thouse tourneys weren't even on the 24, 25 or 26, wdym you need to clear your holiday schedule
sounds like someone shaking a cardboard box filled with junk
Hard to believe this level of griefing and collusion is allowed in a "serious" game, tbh.
It's always been the Collusion Players League. They try to act like it isn't, but we all know that it is.
It really feels like it was Gaul that was griefing you the entire game. The city state thing was the clear factor, and he was for sure using spies all game on you.
Kumasi with 7 envoys without anyone contesting is outrageous
Entertaining game. I think they knew who you were and ganged up to defeat you
