Thank you so much from Spain! Happy to be back making sushi videos, its been a while ☺️🍣🍣🍣 Please take a second to help my come back by sharing this video 🤘
They all look delicious but the taco is so clever and I love having different textures in one mouthful. It really is a joy to have you back. I love rice vinegars but I have recently been experimenting with blending rice vinegar for dips and sushi rice with quince vinegar, I’m using the Portuguese brand Cristal. It’s perfumed and fruity and makes a nice addition. Also, in place of chinkiang I’m using some fig vinegar. Moreno brand, it’s made with dried figs and it’s black and a little sweet with a fantastic flavour. Would love a video from you about vinegars and pickles one day 🫶
@@MakeSushi1 Think I'll start with the Shiso leaf one as my plants are almost done for the year, then the toast for my boy who doesn't like nori. Btw we've had great success with your Dragon rolls & cucumber whales! Definitely crowd pleasers! Thank you again, we love your channel!
Thank you, Aaron! I enjoyed reading this comment a lot and I can’t believe you’re growing Shiso leaves. I tried that once didn’t work out so well, I think the climates a little bit wrong here for them or i just didn’t do a great job at watering them…and I hope your boy enjoys the tuna, tartare toast. 🤘🍣
Chef Devaux put my sushi skills over the top. More important, he helped get me through the lockdown during pandemic. Thank you Chef, you are one of the greatest!
@@MakeSushi1 The tuna taco is just a fantastic set of techniques. I'll probably try that first. Now I just need to find a fishmonger in the US that has fresh salmon that looks like yours!! I have wowed my wife with your teriyaki sauce recipe, your garnishes for maki, especially the egg ones. And the lime sorbet balls with pop rocks made an entire dinner party think I was a wizard haha! Thanks again, Chef, you made me a great home sushi chef!
We missed your videos so much! Thank you so much for coming back, you have no idea how sushi changed what and how i eat. Beautiful, creative and tasty as always ;)
Thank you Oded!!! Im happy to be back making sushi videos 🍣🔪🤘 If you want to help me out, take a second and share one of my videos on social media, keep sushiing 🤘
I have been watching the sushi videos since about 9 years ago. Started making sushi with a friend. The explanations are very clear. The art i would never make but they are cool to watch. I make sushi rolls a little different but i love how you give precise measurements and then i can change as i go. Cause i hate chefs going 'and then some of this'. not giving measurements is hard if you make the recipe for the first time. You make the basics truly easy to learn and 9 years ago, you got me into making my own sushi
Thank you, Irma! This was such a heartwarming comment to read. I love that I inspired you to make sushi such a long time ago nine years, gosh that’s a long time to be following me. Thank you so much for letting me know and I appreciate you watching my videos for such a long time ❤️🍣❤️🍣
@@MakeSushi1 totally digging that! I need to go buy a bunch of them.😂 I have two sets (of 3) emoji type Kawaii faces that I ordered from Japan about 7 years ago. I don't know why this never crossed my mind. I am thankful that you are an inspiration 😊
Hey man! Glad to see you again! And at this not simple time, especially glad to see so nice recipe, which make my mood better! Very nice dish! Thank's a lot!
Yes you can hundred percent make this with the salmon, these tartare bites would be quite great with salmon 😋 Btw it helps me a lot when you share my videos, if you can take a second to share it, thanks!
Thank you so much! Ayhaam! Also thank you for being subscribed to me for 7 years!!! really appreciate it :) PS if you can take a moment to share my video or sushi channel, many thanks!
Thank you so much ☺️ did you try making any of these tuna tartares? Btw, please consider taking a second to share your favorite video on my channel or the whole channel 🤘😁
Excellent, again! All 4 of them. I think I'm gonna try the last one first. Do you have a recipe to mimik the Kewpie mayo? I'll try to make all my mayo sauces at home. Currently in my fridge is the "secret sauce" by ThisDudeCanKook, Sonny. That stuff has become my #1 burger sauce, actually. Greetings from the far north of Germany!
Hey Peter, yes, I do have a recipe to mimic kewpie mayo but it’s made with all natural ingredients if you wanted to mimic kewpie fully, you would need to use MSG. Here is my recipe: th-cam.com/video/1FCJ-UmbxBE/w-d-xo.html Greetings from the southern most point of Europe, the south of Spain!
It looks great!
Great to see you again Chef Davy! Beautiful recipes, as always!
