차이코프스키 사계 12월 '크리스마스'
The Seasons, Op. 37a is a suite of twelve short character pieces for solo piano by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. Each piece is the characteristic of a different month of the year in Russia.
December: Christmas has a small poem by Vasily Zhukovsky at the front of the score:
Once upon a Christmas night
the girls were telling fortunes:
taking their slippers off their feet
and throwing them out of the gate.
차이코프스키 사계는 피아노 독주를 위한 12개의 성격적 소품으로, 1월부터 12월까지 각각의 계절감을 그려내며, 음악잡지 누벨리스트 편집자의 요청으로 그 달에 어울리는 시를 하나씩 선정해 그 느낌에 어울리게 만들어진 작품입니다.
옛날 어느 크리스마스 밤에 소녀들이 추는 왈츠의 정경을 그려내고 있어요.
