Kudos to you for showing the struggle so I don't have to tear my few remaining hairs out disassembling this bear. SFF sucks. I bought a replacement PSU about a year ago and got hella frustrated and set it all aside. Now I saw your video so I have the guts to move forward. HOPEFULLY this will solve the problem. I tested the old PSU in situ and the internal fan works, but I need to eliminate that as a failure point, then will address the mobo if the new PSU doesn't cure it. The thing sounds like it boots up but I get no display on my monitor. HDD works as I put it into another PC.
Awesome, hope the repair goes well. If you haven't already, please like and subscribe so others can find my videos and possibly consider watching a few others and commenting to get the algorithm to recommend my channel. Thanks!
This may be the worst instructional video ever made, but watching him fumble around gave me the confidence that I needed! I was even able to finish 10 minutes ahead of him!
I just finished upgrading my 660s with an SSd, Ram, I53570k, and wiped the Hdd and put as back up storage. Now I do not have to wait minutes for startups and work it takes seconds.
I have same cpu desktop inspiration 600s My psu failed few years ago then I given shop for Psu repair. still now it dint get spoil again. Now my hdd got death
My mom found this same one in the trash in a rich neighborhood. She gave it to me and i upgraded it with an i7-3770s 4c/8t cpu, 8gb ddr3 ADATA XPG ram (2x4gb sticks), MSI LP GT 1030 GDDR5 2GB video card, PNY 240gb ssd boot drive and a 2tb Western Digital HD and upgraded the cpu cooler to a Vetroo M2 with Rainbow lights all running Windows 11 Home. Everything runs great, Overwatch 1080p med setting 90 percent resolution steady 60 fps, gta 5 high setting 1080p, ultra textures 55ish fps and Tomb raider 2013 1080p gets 60 fps on high settings. I'm very pleased with this little sleeper lol. It will also take 16gb of ram but why would anyone do that? With the limitations of the video card you can fit in this case you wouldn't use over 8gb, if i ever changed it to another case or changed the mobo and case i would probably put 16gb in it.
Did the stock psu with 220 watts support all those components you named? I am asking because I want to upgrade my CPU and don't know if it will receive enough power.
@@xe0n37 no, you cannot update the psu to support a video card that requires a lot of power. It won't fit in the tower and the power supply won't provide enough power.

Sounds good
You think it's the worst, but if everything goes smoothly, that's where others will get stuck and not understand where they are going wrong.
@@ItsBinhRepaired That's completely right

I just fixed one of these and omg what a mightmare to work on was exactly like you 😂

may i know whether if I upgrade SSD, I can only chose 2.5" SSD or other option?
That info should be in the video.
3:15 is what you're looking for.
It's best you watch the entire thing to learn about the computer. I give a lot of tips and advice in my videos.
@@ItsBinhRepaired I have this same computer at home and I'm also looking into upgrading to an SSD. Thanks for the tip though!
Are you installing windows from scratch or cloning the drive?
What type of watch battery goes into the motherboard?
Edit: is it a CR2032?
Open yours and check. I don't remember, but that's probably the case.
It is CR2032
