Haven't seen this group in a year or two....but still, what a great presentation. Being outside did not help the acoustics and sound projection, but the fun song of "Open the Door, Get on the Floor, its time to walk the dinosaur" always gets people moving, along with the Blue Brothers "Shake a Tail feather" It's a smaller group than in the past, but still very accomplished musicians, with a fun, informative and dedicated conductor, with not a sheet of music in sight !!. As usual....I.L.B. did a great job on the video, under difficult conditions. Thanks to all, hope to see more soon....Yea...."Let's get Funky" :-)
No, but perhaps I should be? I'll do some research. I found your group a few years ago and have recommend others view and enjoy what you do with a very talented pool of students. I am a very strong supporter of music in schools, from elementary thru high school. I only wish that there were the resources to bring your and students to the U.S. as well. My high school celebrates its 100th anniversary in 2020, with a new performing arts center, oh....how I wish you could be there. Arigatou.... Be well, and tell your students they have fans in the U.S.,
This band sounds great! Unfortunately. I couldn't understand the Japanese but I did catch the word "euphonium" and a few other English words as well. All in all a very entertaining group.
Thanks again for uploading. By the way I remember that I've seen him on TV program earlier about directing school brass band training and it seems he had transferred to this school later and I wonder when he started to direct this school. I think he is one of the best school brass band director in Japan obviously.

When I saw you on the TV at that time, the most impressive thing was that your philosophy that students themselves is much more important than the music so the first is(should be) doing his/her job as a school students and then the other activities are second... it's really true.
@@denisoh2912 Thank you very much! I think you really understand about education, music, life. I've had very strict way in teaching them before, but now I teach tenderly and enjoy teaching great students! Of course I never change my philosophy.

Yes I used to on TV with ex-school's band in 2005.I've directing this band since 2009, both students are so good!
