This series in 2024 would be amazing. Always hoped for episode 3 and so on (looks like there’s others who would as well). Also… Thank you for all the entertainment! No matter what you upload, I’m here for it! I can’t wait to see some of the new games to come as well, like the zoo game you showed the trailer for recently!
Please tell me you are continuing this series? I just happened to stumble across it at 4am and was glued to the screen. Waiting for Episode 3. Take care!
What a prefect way to end my Monday after work! I love this series, but more importantly I'm glad you enjoy it Fooster! Glad to see everything worked out with your house and to hear you're feeling better! Much love ❤️
You've had everything you need for a spear since episode 1, stone blade you made really early, sticks + plant fibers will make the basic stone spear, and doesn't require a bench to make it on. As you found, you can harvest logs to make firewood and sticks. You can also harvest firewood for even more sticks. Racoons will steal from your drying rack though. I was going to mention using the cart for the animal harvest, but you figured it out by the end. Also wash your hands after butchering. I can't remember if food poisoning was implemented, but I think eating with bloody hands is a bad thing.
The spoil timer is based on when an item became the item it is. So when you harvest an animal, it starts as raw meat with a 30 minute spoil timer. Cooking it or drying it does not alter the spoil timer until it becomes "cooked meat" (if cooked) or "dried meat" (if dried) if it changed the timer before the state change of the food, it would be open to abuses, such as place nearly spoiled meat in the drying rack, and now it has a 2 hour time until spoiled. When the cooking or drying (or other process) timer ends, the item converts from one item type to another, which effectively means its a brand new item. With any associated traits, such as spoil timer.
If you place 1 wall and one roof piece over your forge area you don't have to wait till it stops raining to smelt ore. It is easy to move your base if you don't want to stay there. Just use the cart and a few chests and fill it up move it to the new location and start placing down a base. You should keep seeds as they are crucial to get a garden going, which you will need sooner than later. No plants grow in the winter outdoors. You will have to build a good sized base and place all planters inside to keep food going. It is very important to get that going ASAP.
That deer really had it out for you! 🤣 And your forges look like there's a surprised little creature inside looking out at you before you place the rocks inside.
Yes Fooster, please finish streaming this series for us. I loved the bigfoot series, a lot of fun. This series is very interesting, we want to see how it plays out!
I can't believe i watched this whole thing with NO INFECTED at all anywhere! This was just surviving in the wild, with no monsters. That's the main draw man.
when i dont have butcher placeable, i put my deer/bear in woodlog cart to prevent them disappear. drying rack you can dry fish on hook without harvest into meat. liver is a must to eat cooked to gives you some resistance. this helps me alot since i didnt know there are quicker way to shift to storage to & from backpack. after butchering animals, its best to wash hands BEFORE eating 😂
You can directly dry the fish without harvesting them to save on space, then harvest the dried results after! Also on the carts, I've found it's easiest to have two of them One with the storage, one for logs and moving animals to the butchering table from wherever you've hunted them
He wont do so good unless he can keep from running away from the zombies. He gets skittish around them. But with a second person he would be set. Ever watch YouAlwaysWin? They do a great job of owning zombies and surviving that game.
I would love for him to play 7 days to die! I watched Vertiigo gaming on twitch and TH-cam play that and it’s a cool game. I think fooster would love playing that if he hasnt
I am so glad you brought the infected back! I discovered you because of the first time you played the infected. Enjoying your content but that game just feels right! Greetings from Germany
Make the water trough and fill it with water then put you fish in it to keep them fresh till you want to harvest. That way you can have a nice steady supply of easy meat since you have to wait for the fish to repawn in the lake
Been playing infected for a couple of years now. I am having a great time watching you and remembering the early trials, although I was much more inept . Keep up the entertaining and wonderful streams.
Fooster need to make some stored for stick for log like the last time. It's easier when you build to have ALL you need and no need to running into the forest in the night. Also keep calm and see around if something going. You lost a spear for not to be calm
Dying for more/longer series to be made in general on the channel lately :/ just 1-2 episodes of each game is so frustrating because it just gets you started and then leaves you dry or wondering how a game ends or progresses. Would love to see more of the game play and base building. Love Foosters voice and play style just wish I could actually see more of each game he’s playing for some of these bigger games. Really hoping more content is show for these survival games and some of the horror games where we don’t always get an ending in the video.
When you start talking about how people rather longer videos over cuts. I like seeing the whole process because any game is Grindy and watching this I can see the pain of how early game could drag if you have setbacks. But yea I love watching all of it unless it’s really long travel to an area I’ve already seen, which this game being new to me I like seeing every little detail.
The fact that it takes so much resources to make weapons makes it hard to try to make the base somewhere else. But I must admit I would love to see if you could make the base somewhere else like the fish pond. Also I kept thinking that you should keep most of the trees close to the camp so you don´t get the sun exposure. I really really enjoy this survival games and this one is amazing!
It's not a problem. You just need to run somewhere else immediately when you start a new game. It's kind of useless to "get ready" first. I mean, he already ran once to the fish pond. Why not run there immediately, or wherever you want your base to be? Of course you can first make a stone axe or whatnot, because they are made on the spot from stuff you pick up from the ground, but once you start making iron, the investment is HUGE, as you saw. It's better to get down to it only when you are ready to commit fully and build your base. Later in the game you can build "mini-bases" elsewhere, if you want to, because it's fun, but the first base should be your final base in my opinion.
As a long haul driver I don't get the opportunity to play any of these games, As I am usually on the road away from home 6 days a week. But I have always enjoyed watching you ( That sounds creepy) play ( sounds slightly more creepy) these type of survival games for the past few years. I'm always a fan of longer episodes also 👍. Thank you for making everyones day just better every time you post content.
I've seen people build docks with some fence or gates up around front part connected to land with the body of water behind like a moat so dont need fences/gates for whole back half of base as water protecting/defending that part of base saving time and resources as again base is built out in water on the dock and foundation and it seemed/seems to work
I used to watch you a long while back forgot about you and looked on my old phone found you again and for the past year ad a half you have been my favorite youtuber. Keep up the great videos.
Ofc we love games like metro, but it’s been a minute since we’ve got fooster talking so much and i didnt even know i missed it this much. (Loving both though^^)
great video mate loved it as always still hoping for a 1000 ep series love watching all the little things you do in these type of games like the smelting and stuff like that
Hey man your videos keep me so invested ! Loving this series so far, keep up the fantastic work! Also as a side note, the friendship chemistry with Fisk in the other videos is top notch. All the best from Canada.
Lead seems to just make Lead Ingots (Smelted) and Steel Alloys (Anvil). Then recipes that need these seem to be Wind Turbines and Battery Storages... so for the moment they're a bit useless. From what I've read on the infected wiki anyway. Edit: Steel ingots also lead to a car/truck at somepoint. Edit 2: The wiki says that it takes about 10 mins for the drying process to complete, and apparently (when you get fish) don't harvest it if you're planning on drying it, as unharvested fish spoils slower than harvested fish.
I certainly just love it when I try to purposely throw a spear into water without aiming whatsoever while not even trying to throw straight, and it magically nails god dead in the eye
We need a Minecraft play through, Fisk and taco would make it the most hectic experience ever😂😂😂 Ps wash your hands after using the butcher table, it’s just like dayz you can get salmonella if you don’t!!!
You don't have to wait for the rain to stop before restarting your forges - you can just build a roof over them like you did for your campfire. You built 8 forges with no cover...
Good stuff! I hope this turns into a long running series! Speaking of deer, had one scare me the other day when I was on my walk. Damned thing was drinking at one of our pools when I came across it...🤣👍 Right nuisance they are 🤣 Thank you for the video!

Should put up a shelter over the forges like you did the campfire, that way you can smelt during the rain.
I wasn’t planning on staying in the area for this long so it’s probably going to happen
Thank you for bringing this game back to your channel!

Maybe it's my imagination... but I could swear you sounded a bit lonely without Fisk's response when you brought up the Rigor Mortis 😄
Lmao
haha, I swear i heard fisk laughing when he said that:()

I don't laugh often but you saying the deer replaced the chicken had me huddled over in laughter.
Since Fooster is such a greater survivalist considering all the games he plays, would really want to see him give 7 days to die a try🤔

combine the Lead Ore with Iron Ore on the Anvil to make Steel Alloy. Keep up the good work Fooster these are amazing videos i love this series

To craft a stone spear.
