It sounds crazy, but I think about this moment all the time. It's one of the most epic moments in Mahomes entire career. On the surface it just looks like him screaming, but it's a lot more than that. In those 4 screams, we're hearing him release all the frustration of coming up short in the past, the prior year with the Chiefs (coming up short in the AFC championship game to the Patriots) and in college (never winning anything meaningful). And we're hearing all the pressure, frustration, and disappointment of 50 years (!!!) of Chiefs Super Bowl drought. We're hearing him let go of ALL that.
We're hearing his pure joy in finally achieving his life's dream.
This was THE moment Patrick Mahomes transformed into a Super Bowl champion, with many more to come.
I honestly get emotional watching it every time, it's just so raw and full of emotion when you really understand its full context.

I was there on the field doing security by the Chiefs bench, this was the most amazing experience I had in my life so far. The energy in the stadium was powerful. The entire Chiefs team never doubted themselves and stuck together like family, everyone made their presence known in a positive way for their team and it was a special feeling seeing the confetti, everyone and their family from the Chiefs, celebrate their superbowl win. Congrats to the chiefs!! 💯
