man i've seen like 4 made in abyss videos like this with really high production quality with barely any views, i guess it's because the series isn't all that popular, anyways great video man keep it up

While the third layer isn't the most interesting as a standalone, I like it for story purposes. It has a sense of being an ominous transitional layer that is the final breath before plunging down the throat of a beast.
Yeh if I had to say one problem with my video, its just that some layers are specifically designed to be more important standing alone than others, I don't think anyone would argue that the first layers was supposed to be more interesting than like the fourth or fifth, however at the same time It was an interesting video idea and It gave me a good chance to talk about a bunch of aspects of Made in Abyss that I really enjoy. I totally agree with your point though, while the third layer isn't very special on its own, its still an invaluable part of the Abyss as a whole.
As an anime only, season 2 is incredible!! I hope you enjoy it as much as I do, definitely one of my favourite layers and DEFINITELY one of my favourite arcs so far too!!
I've been hearing very good things about it, and I'm extremely exited about watching it, so I'll definitely update you guys when I get around to binging it!
I had a dream I was exploring the 4th layer last night. I was looking up at the goblet of giants above me. I thought I saw an orb piercer looking down over the edge at me, but it turned out it was just some sort of giant spider thing lowering itself. It was all "live action" too, for lack of a better term. One of the coolest experiences I've had in a dream.
Damn that's really cool, I haven't had the pleasure of having a dream in the abyss, but I'm hoping I will some day. The enthralling surroundings of the abyss seem like they would lend themselves really well to a dream
Wow, thats cool! I had a similar Dream 2 or 3 Days ago. Only Problem was it was about Bondrewd's Experiments and a VERY vivid reminder about the 6th Layers Curse....
Omg roro!! such a great video, your thumbnail was so pretty and im glad it brought me to this video, i have such a short attention span yet i watched though the entire thing, your amazing dude.
Mine has got to be the 6th. I mean, destroyed stone/gold city, giraffe/snail dragons and 2arcs happen there (well, the current one and the start of the next one as of now in the manga)
the made in abyss game made the 3rd layer more interesting by having there be kinda fire and ice areas within it, some wacky geothermal stuff and idk any real explanation for the ice lol
I just became a white whistle in the game. The Inverted Forest will always have a special place in my heart. The 5th layer though, esp Ido Front is my favorite. The purple hue and the overall vibe fills me with emotions I cant put into words. I hate the 3rd layer, Heavens Waterfall would be where I would nope right back up the surface.
If we include the beginning or the outer layer i guess you can say which is the island that holds the abyss. It is definitely in the top 2 since it gives out a sense of the adventure is beginning and praying that the main characters survive through whatever is down there
Yeh I will say, the starting town of Orth is a really cool setting for the beginning of the story, if it was included in the ranking it would probably be up near the top
Yeah I keep seeing people tell me about how amazing the sixth layers is so I'm pretty exited to finally get to experience it in season two, I'll definitely make an update video on the list pretty soon!
The only thing I would brink differently as I would flip number two and three. That's cool as the crystallized water structures are, that whole layer feels kind of bland and generic to me in comparison to the others and we spend most the time in Ido front. Whereas the inverted forest lodged itself into my memory as a truly iconic environment from the series.
Yeah that's understandable, I was a bit up in the air about those two layers specifically, since I wasn't sure if the Ido front should help or hurt the fifth layers rankings, but in the end the fifth layer won the coin flip, although I still agree that the inverted forest is an insanely iconic and amazing section of the abyss
The Skeletons were said SPOILER To be people who died from the birthday sickness, an incurable disease where you die in your birthday, and since there is nothing else to do, all they do is pray.
Oh I didn't know there may be more, I thought everything below the 6th layer was classified as the 7th layer, I haven't caught up with the manga yet, thanks for letting me know!
@@RoroReviewsStuff No, the seven layers are the layers, which are known to humanity. No information has ever reached the surface from deeper down. It is likely, that there still is an 8th, 9th or even 10th layer!
I'll get back to you on that, still need to watch season 2, but I have very high hopes considering how good everyone is saying it is. Ideally I'll probably do a video on season two as a whole and then maybe a video on the sixth layer specifically when I eventually watch it.

probably because of TH-cam CURSE

can u tell their titles or somethin :)
Can you share the other 4 please? I’m craving for high production quality content amongst the current trend of sea of fast-tiktok trash.

I didn't expect a well put up video, nice job!
Thank you!
I find it interesting that the ost for the fourth layer is essentially a wilder version of the first layer
Hey this is really well made, keep it up man :)
Thanks so much, I'll try my best!
I am gonna expect this: 3 (It was 6 pages in the manga. Only 6 they added so much in the anime.) 1, 2 and idk if you prefer 4 or 5
Great video!
Very engaging video! Great job :)
not only world building but also gore and emotions.

Having played the game, I kinda wish the 3rd layer was as easy as the anime made it look lol
:o I still need to play the game, It looks pretty good so far at least
From least favourite to favourite (before watching):
Third
First
Surface
Second
Fourth
Fifth
Sixth
Layer 6 is top 1 no debate

The Third Layer has the Madokajack, and as such, is the worst.
I hate the fith layer, THERE ARE NO FLOWERS OF FORTITUDE
One piece is still the king of world-building.
