Parts of the track are still there. I grew up in the Farm and as teenagers we'd sneak into the racecourse (by jumping the fence next to the Hume Highway bridge over Cabramatta Creek). I knew about the track from my grandmother telling me about it but Id never seen it before.
as a 13 year old me and my mates would bus and train it from Newport to watch the races.. sneaking into the pits with fake passes... one mate had a dad who was a flag marshal so was lucky enough to join them at the Causeway and snap photo's of Petes mustang inside front wheel off the ground drifting...
Love the vid mad where did you get this stuff from young fella..? Its awesome I love the irony that it's the Tasman Championships International... This track actually runs in and out of the Horse race track infield you can clearly see the rough patch where they run out from the infield striaght at the camera. And how quick were those Minis??

my first race meet was at the Farm it was 1967 and the Tasman race gawd all the F1 drivers were there happy memories
