Thank you for your information video. I want to add my hazmat endorsement to my cdl & was told I had to do the entire process. So thanks to your video I just need to do those 3 steps.
Thanks for the great video. You answered some vital questions that I had and now I won’t have to go to the DMV and wait in line to ask however I do have one question for, did you have to take all of your knowledge tests over again when you went to the DMV? or were you just able to do the hazmat written test? I’m asking because I’ve added endorsements in the past and when I did, I had to take everything over again. It was a real pain
@@davidsilva6830 good question, the answer is no. I thought and I study for the whole thing but only required the hazmat section.
@@MigrantAmerican one last question did you have your CDL longer than one year before you added your hazmat endorsement?

@ I just went in and took it. All I had to do was take the one endorsement test for hazmat I live in California. I’m not sure if it’s different in other states.
Did you need to get a hazmat physical? I’m also in CA and some videos have been mentioning that a mandatory part of the hazmat process is getting a hazmat physical/health screening
@@wyattjohnson4349 I didn’t but that’s probably because I updated my physical previously. I’m sure if it’s renewal is coming up soon they would require it.

Hey bro , i have CDL A already and we did ELDT while school training. So my question is i just have to do TSA thing online and then go to DMV for the test?
I have another question, can i get hazmat on work permit? I have 5years work permit and I don’t have PR or citizenship.

@@pawanpunia2072 sorry, you have to be a minimum PR to get a Hazmat. That’s why I had to wait for my immigration process to come through, it took me 5 years.

@@jacobhernandez2844 I’m looking at all the jobs available in the area there’s many of them. Funny thing I was looking for a job for my brother and I saw a friend driving a tanker. I went through my contacts and I found him. I asked him information about his job and I can tell my brother about it. My brother doesn’tqualify, but I’m interested in that job. I will take a slow because I have a baby coming in two months. I can’t jump into the first option.
