It is very nice to see 1970 models updated with reliable mechanicals and operating smoothly. They look great.
They took some work but I am happy with the results for sure!
Love the Sacramento northern railroad. It is my favorite railroad and I love your channel. 👍
Thanks sean, the SN is my favorite railroad. Saw them everyday growing up as a kid!
Thanks for sharing!!! Those motors are GREAT looking!!!!
I agree, they are pretty cool!
Awesome work
Thanks, and also for supporting our channel!
Great stuff, Charles. Your layout looks amazing. Well done on those SN electrics! They look fabulous! Will even be that much better with catenary!
Thanks, I appreciate the compliment the SN was my childhood railroad I saw everyday. I love their electrics!
Thanks. As you’re probably aware, using live overhead lines with DCC can be problematic due to the limited contact area (compared to wheels on rails), although a pantograph may work better than poles.
The poles will be the next big project! Looking into it!
Those are way too pretty to be shelf models! Glad you were able to get them squared away...
Yeah, it was time to get them running and off the shelf!
Fantastic, more videos of the layout please
OK, more to come for sure! Glad you are enjoying them!
