It's pretty dope seeing two of my influences during the pandemic that helped me in my journey to tech. Because of them...I am now an Azure Cloud Engineer. Please listen to these two 🐐's! They are not only trailblazers, but very kind and generous with their time, resources when they really don't have to be.
@@teneikaaskew2116 I remember sitting in your scrum sessions ( yeah way back lol and I knew that if I stuck with it...good things would happen..thank you so much for all you have done to support, uplift and lead in this space. It's inspiring!
Very inviting and unique POV in videography! Simone is a master interviewer also! Live the people who are brought on. Very authentic & organic channel!!!!❤😊😊😊❤
Lol. I’m all ears and taking notes. Just started to pivot into tech. I live in The Netherlands but the knowledge you drop is applicable to many situations.
I’m so blessed I happed to stumble across your TH-cam channel. I’m prior military and now I am a full time student and a federal contractor doing help desk, but it pays PENNIES. I’m a few months away from graduating with my degree in Cyber and Information Security Technology. One day I’ll be on your podcast with my success story. Speaking it into existence. Thanks for the content.
From Pandemic Tweets to TH-cam meets LOVE YALL!! This is so informative just from a journey perspective. Teneika has been attacking projects, people, systems, companies, information for 7+years making her an expert by 30. This helps me mentally in my journey (obvi you can’t compare you’re NOW to someone else’s NOW) to reflect and repackage the next stretch of this journey. ❤
Thank you for the transparency Teneika! You shared not only your salaries at the different levels of your career but how you got there through networking and stretching like you said. Its really inspiring what you and Symone are sharing about your experiences as young Black Women in tech. I' m excited for how my life is about to change.
Great interview, it’s a boost for learning morale. @teneika is making me want to be known more internally now to experience better benefits and learning development!
I love how recent guests either tried healthcare / psychology or leadership THEN realized they didn't want to work with people so they pivoted into Tech.
I am currently taking my certs for cybersecurity, would it be best to get an internship after I get my certs or can I just jump straight into the field?
I like that video. Success looks like everything. People over the internet always make success looks like wake up at 5am gym and stuff while you can be a big black woman and kill that ish.. too ( black man here from the french carribean in tech remotely. with France at the moment looking forward to remotely work with the USA at some point )
You don't have to get in thousands of dollars of debts, many colleges like my Alma mater are actually affordable. Mine, Fayetteville State University is actually only $500 per semester for in state and $2500 out of state
@@teneikaaskew2116hey I’m a current student at Fayetteville State University in the computer science program you should totally come through and speak with us female students in the program we could use some inspiration
I have to say thanks to both of these amazing people. Especially Teneika. She drops gems(on multiple platforms) and is a light house in a sea of misinformation. God bless🫵🏿
Thank you for this interview. This interviewee is on point, especially with training. I love to develop myself through work and personal. This interviewee's explanation on projects made me more aware. I am preparing to move to D.C. next year to establish my next career and work with the Federal Government. Can you please also interview an individual who is similar to my experiences (I'll be age 39 on Monday and making a career change)? 27oct23
