I'm about to build a few myself this weekend and getting the materials ready. I was wondering if a hand trimmer router with a 45 degree chamfer router bit would also do the trick. I know it's more work but is it possible to use a hand trimmer? Thanks!

Great video!!! Do you have a link for the fabric you use on the front of the panel?

Thank you glad you liked it! This fabric is called "black crushed velvet". I get mine from a local fabric wholesaler locally in Toronto, but if you search for that fabric I'm sure you can find some locally to wherever you are!
      Hope that helps,
      Cheers

What kind of wood you are using? I want to build them here in the States, but I don't know much about wood, and at Home Depot there's so many different kinds. Thanks!

For these ones I used 2inchx2inchx8foot lumber. Thanks for watching!

Hey. I see you've been using Comfortboards 80. What reasons do you have besides aesthetics and ease of work, compared with Sound'n'Safe? Did you do any acoustic measurements with regard of those two materials? I.e. soundwaves absorption, transmission and reflections, frequency response?

Hello, I like to use comfort board 80 for my wall panels since the higher density and lower profile allows me to make 2 inch frames rather than 4 inch frames needed for safe'n'sound with a very similar frequency response curve and almost as much performance. When I make ceiling clouds and bass traps I always use safe'n'sound for the higher ASTM C423 ratings.
Here's a link for the comfort board 80 ratings:

And here's one for the safe'n'sound:
