Surprising. I expected to see the usual places like New York, London, Paris, Chicago, etc. I guess tourism and financial capitols have shifted. Or maybe there is some other reason for the cities visited.
It's partially because they are cheaper (though East Asia is very expensive to fly to), also people bandwagon. I mean why else would people go to Delhi? Yeah to some heritage but mainly cause it's dirty cheap, cause the place is dirty itself

México uno de los países más visitados del mundo porque promueve el turismo en todos sus rincones, desde Cancún que fue una ciudad creada especialmente para el turismo, hasta los pueblos mágicos de menos de 50 míl habitantes.
Y se puede notar en esta tabla, Cancún la ciudad más visitada de México no aparece en la lista.
Porque México no es una ciudad, es el país entero.

@@Eduzah el principal factor que determina el turismo en los paises es su ubicacion, asi que entre mas cercanos esten a los grandes centros emisores de turistas internacionales, mejor les ira. los tres mayores polos mundiales emisores de turistas internacionales son EEUU, Europa y China de los cuales Brasil esta muy alejado y tu mismo pais no recibiria las mismas actuales cifras de turistas de ubicarse en sudamerica.

Para que veas, España en el top 3 de países más visitados pero jamás habrá una gran ciudad porque para el resto de países sólo tienen un lugar conocido, en España:Madrid, Barcelona, Sevilla, Valencia, Benidorm, Palma de Mallorca, Las Palmas, Santa cruz e Tenerife, Marbella, Santiago de Compostela, Salou, IBIZA!!!, y miles y miles de sitios.
El tercer país y en algunos momentos el segundo más visitado del mundo, no tiene ciudades o es que tenemos más de 50 aeropuertos internacionales y no me he enterado¿? Cuentan viajeros de bussiness por que sino, engañais descaramente como ranking global.
