    You are not wrong! Its the one I find the most difficult too - the only answer is perseverance I'm afraid ...

    By the way, I should have said I think the lessons are very good (I teach ukulele and guitar myself). Didnt mean to sound negative. Unlike a lot of these TH-cam lessons the visuals are very clear. It drives me crazy when people scribble small indecipherable diagrams etc. on whiteboards.

    Hi - This was one of my earlier attempts at video tuts, hence its probably not as slick as the later ones, however the chord sequence and strums are pretty much correct, just varies occasionally here and there ...

    Of course it doesn't have to - the reason it is shown with 4 dots at the 2nd fret is because it is generally played as a 'barre' chord, but if you find it easier don't barre the whole 2nd fret as you suggest - in fact I find that way easier also ...

    The video is good! Can't wait to progress to your slicker ones! Thanks. the more i practise, the more it sounds like what you are doing.. I also think your chord sheet with the strum pattern did say it's different (I assume it's different from the one in this video). By the way, I'm in Thailand - just want to let you see the extent of your fanbase! You would love the chilli here...

    If Bm has the fourth string under the fourth finger on the fourth fret than why does the same string have to be under the 1st finger as well?

    hi there! thanks for all your tutorials. I managed to play Bad Moon Rising and that has been great therapy for the soul. I'm not musically inclined so that speaks alot for your tuts. On that note, however, I'm having a hard time matching your chord sheets with the video. In your previous video, you mentioned your strumming pattern was "loosely" such and such -- do your chord sheets reflect your exact strum pattern or not really? Having a tough time learning this song!
    thanks!

    I find it hard to play this chord on both sizes! Try pressing your 2nd finger on top of your 1st finger to stop it lifting ...

    I cant understand why your chord diagrams show the numbers of the strings. Surely, it would be more helpful to indicate the fingering.

    Who else used just one finger for Cm and Bm bc its easier to use one finger for 3 strings in a row

    • @287monty1
      @287monty1  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Rozell - yes I do that too but for a true Bm you need to either mute the G string or just play the top 3 strings ;)
