i'm a 9w1 and i was doing the graduation speech at my school and i literally said "go out there and do what you wanna do, enjoy your life, have some adventures, try new things, have fun in your future,..." and i was this close to saying "save the turtles" or something like that but i didn't wanna bother anyone with the problems of the world or pressure them into thinking they have to save the world hahaha

As a 5, I went to my high school graduation because I had to, buuuuuut I had the college mail my degree.
I have no reason to be around folks unless absolutely necessary.

I’m also a 5, and graduated high school early just so I didn’t have to sit through my own graduation ceremony. Still working on my college degree, but I guarantee you I’m going to avoid that graduation ceremony like the plague since it’ll be way bigger and therefore way less pleasant.
One of the *(few)* good things that came out of the pandemic is me not having to attend my highschool excellence award ceremony. If the event wasn't cancelled, I'd have to stand on stage and face the audience while the MC reads a short “biography” about me accompanied by sad piano music.....a true nightmare.
In high school, I manage to get an early certification so that I could go to college asap, the day of the ceremony I already had classes thus a great excuse to miss it. I still didn't come back for the formal degree.
Same for me. I didn't mind high school graduation, but I saw no point in going to either of my college graduations. I would have been graduating with mostly strangers. For my undergraduate I was feeling depressed because I wasn't sure what I was going to do next and for my masters I was older, had already finished classes the semester before, and was living in another town. It seemed like a waste of time.

Admittedly, I place little faith in the Enneagram model. However, if I did, I’d definitely identify as a 4 w5. That was me in college. “All those lovely experiences I have had over the past four years with my fellow scholars talking about life! Answering why we are here! Now what? I have a useless degree that no one explained would be useless! We’re in a recession too, no less? I feel like I’ve completed a full circle rather than a linear accomplishment. Hold that thought everybody; I’m going to write it down. Definitely sounds like something I need to journal about later once I get these robes off.”
I'm a 4w3 and it doesn't describe me quite as well... too worried about the job I was going to get when I graduated. College was to get through so I could travel the world... and college never lived up to my expectations. I wanted the beautiful memories. I just couldn't believe in them.

I'm a type 4w5. I've never been to France, nor have I ever had....er...."Hagen Daas" of that particular "flavour." I'm also a Gen Xer. I also didn't get my undergraduate degree til I was in my 40's, but I don't think any of this has much to do with my enneagram type. I think it has more to do with my strict upbringing and my ADHD.
I’m a type 2 and I was given the opportunity to give the speech at my graduation. I literally ended it with “lots of love, your friend Emma.” I FEEL ATTACKED.

As a 9 I think my speech would be carefully rehearsed where I'd figure out what people usually say and what they want to hear... write it down, memorize it and then ofcourse stammer and forget everything when delivering.
As an 8w9 who just had to give a graduation speech, this might be the most accurate thing I've ever seen....

Not a rule: the enneagram type is more a surviving strategy, the personality could lead you to be a specific enneagram type and of course some are more likely than others. I'm an INFJ and a type 9 btw, but a type 9 could also be an extrovert. I know many.

I am an INFP, and the more I watch these, the more I think I must be a 9, and either a 9w8 or 9w1. I realize a lot of the INFs out there claim to be 4, but I honestly see more of 9 in me with some 8 and 1 stuff.

it's an INTP girl and I thought like i need to answer these questions
first I will start from the last question.. I was born religious but in certain time i lost my belief in religions but still believe in god tho, i consider the matter of beliefs and religions as a self matter like some1 should keep this to himself and search about it by his own.. the fact that i don't believe in religions but i still see them as something important for the people.. people can't all be conscious of the truth of good and evil or death or life so they need religion to have the simple answers that they wanted and that's enough for them.
for my perception of life it's still not a fix answer, because it's always changing according to my growth or experience that i will have.. but for now life is still mysterious and contradictory for me i'm some1 who get attracted to the nihilism but in the same time it's not an absolute or fixed to the life itself but anyway we still living it and keep curious about it and that's what makes us us..
For me i guess my perception can be applicated just for me cuz every1 has his own vision of seeing life or anything else and i surely believe in that cuz people are not equal and that makes the difference visions.
Hope you can understand it.
