Hey Sam, A couple things.. You need to be going a certain speed when you ride close by a thing for it to count as a near miss. It's not very gnarly to ride by a tree at 5 mph. As for the boss jump, you didn't necessarily need more speed. The arc your character takes is based on where you flick your left stick. You can flick it close to the bottom of the jump to go further or toward the top makes you go higher. Hope this helps!

Sam a little tip: When you are jumping off a ramp more to the right it is because when you go up the bottom you are more towards the left. If you are trying to go more left its easier to start more on the right side of the ramp at that bottom.

Have you figured out any of the pumping or counter-pumping mechanics in the game, if not I recommend finding it in the game pause menu (I don’t 100% remember where in the pause menu)
Sam Theres a volcano world. To get it you have to start in the beginning and complete the fire node and a ring of fire spawns on the boss jumó go through it in every world in 1 run and you will unlock the volcano world. You have to complete the fire node in every world

When you do fire nodes, it adds a fire ring to the boss jump, and when you do that for every environment in one run you unlock a new environment. Please try to do that in a future episode
