I'm going to give you tips. Singing from your throat will cause more damage, you don't want that. That's going to be a way to hurt it even more. Singing from your diaphragm is a strong support to help your breathing correctly. This woman has no idea what's she talking about. (That's my opinion, don't base to agree) A family member taught me these tips and it helps me ever since... I had improved. I rather for you to take my tips and improve them... If you agree.
The only vocal coach on TH-cam not scared to make a terrible sound. Other coaches sound perfect when demonstrating wrong technique and it's quite demoralizing and makes one feel that you have to be born a certain way to sing well.
Look at Victoria's Victorious Singing Tips. When she demonstrates she shows what people do that's wrong. She also shows his do it correctly, of course. And she's got a wonderful personality. She's an amazing teacher. I have learned so much already from her and for the first time in years I am actually making great progress.
The first thing that came up in my head when she holds the candle was "is she gonna use the candle to light her internals?" i'm sorry about that miss Janice.🤗
I was watching this video whilst looking at my tv. I was also resting my phone on my knee and next thing, I receive the biggest jumpscare of my life when you sang at 2:05. I had my volume on max 😂😂😂😂
I ADORE this video and this approach! This makes sense to me. I have watched so many videos about sing from your diaphgram etc but as someone who feels disconnected from my body (and not to mention chubby), it's like trying to see while being blind. I needed it put another way for me for it to make sense in my brain. I remember there was this magical moment in my teenage years -- and it only happened once! -- where I was singing and singing and then I reached this point where my range was so wide and noticed this: I didn't use a lot of air. It didn't feel forceful at all. Doing those super high notes didn't feel forceful at all and so did going lower. Your video made it *click* in my brain that -- hey, that time you sang fluidly and fully with using minimal air IS on the right track to something. Thank you so much for this!
Q::How to know that we are using our throat voice or chest voice (chest voice means using of lungs)?? Answer::::::::: Throat voice:: If you're feeling uncomfortable after few minutes during singing means feeling tired or voice blast at high notes that's major indication that you are using your throat which is not recommended at all Lungs/chest voice:: If you are not feeling tired pressure on your muscles during singing and your high notes are easily accessible for you without using any body force and not blasting of your voice smoothly using it at high pitch its the indication that you are already on the best path(using chest voice) its recommended that always use chest voice for smooth high notes and without the blasting of your voice Stay blessed ❤️
Haaaaaahhhhhhaaaa... 🤣🤣🤣🤣. Quite funny. But most informative. Thank you Janice. And now, which section of the house - via Feng Shui - could help push my voice to hit whistle register? Or should I forecast my potential vocal prowess using QiMen? I already know that by being a Xin Metal Day Master, i would at least have entry level singing ability... my Bazi natal chart helped confirm this. 😅😂💖
Janice I've missed you, welcome back! Thanks for the tip, btw I love your speaking voice. That dinosaur scream you did when expelling the air out was terrifying 😂.
Ahahahah! I already love you and instantly subscribed, but my fear is that my neighbours will call the cops on me really soon because I don't like headphones and I was blasting the speakers with your excercise 😂 hahah
Hi Janice i like you vlogs. May you teach us how not to pop the veins in the neck when singing high notes? I don't know why my veins in the neck appear in span of seconds when singing mid to high notes though i feel not straining while singing high notes. Hope you can help me with this. Thanks
When you're supposed to sing in diaphragm and not with throat is it supposed to sound higher in pitch? I kinda like the pitch and depth of my voice when singing with throat. When I attempt to sing without throat I feel like I'm raising my pitch. I don't like the tone much compared to when I just sing normally w/throat. Thanks!
I always sing from my throat and its hurts and idk how to stop and sing in a healthy way...
same!!
Imagine an egg is in ur throat!
@@groovieyunnie0216 ok
Same when people try to explain to me how to sing from the stomach I never understand

Best teacher. Best imagination for the voice. I have ever seen.
Hats off to u for sharing the science behind the singing from stomach in such a simple way...👍😊
😂😂😂😂 ahahaahaha the example has me in stitches I can't even focus
Excellent clarification of what a diaphragm tone is and cool candle trick to test it. You must retain more air to use it properly.
Wow. I was just trying to work through this two nights ago. You are a life saver Janice!
You are so good at explaining and giving examples.
I cant even focus on her tip, I cant stop laughing at her scream 😂😂😂
