Such a blessing to hear this in our individualistic world! When we lived in a Christian community for 7 years it was a huge time of growth in our faith, relational skills & friendships. Not all easy, but great support during rough times with faithful prayer warriors praying together during the highs & lows of life. Special memories & very important for our young children as they grew up & developed.🥰 Blessings from South Australia💕🐨

I was Blessed to live in Nepal. I felt traumatised by isolation when I returned home. One of the poorest countries in the world with a culture so vibrant and rich,...... so much community togetherness and sharing. Spending time alone was not a concept.
My notion of poverty has forever changed. We live with such wealth in material things, so poor in deep connection. 🌼💕🌻💕

The lost art of Neighbouring! It's SO important, attending Chapel near to where you live, engaging with community when shopping/using public services - TALK TO PEOPLE! Xx

So true Americans sucks at making friends .. in India your neighbor are your friend and family everyday they talk to each other, help each other even exchange things on regular basis. i still talk to my childhood friends after living 22 years in USA 🇺🇸 . American life is lonely life that’s why we buy the things we don’t need to fulfill the emptiness..

That's because you have a negative confirmation bias
When you experienced enough negativity, you believe most, if not the whole world is that way
If you traveled around America, you'll see major cultural differences in other cities and states that'll hopefully open your mind and give you more positive perspectives about this country

I get it, especially if you live in areas like L.A. county. I feel like the isolation of the pandemic made it worse. Keep your head up buddy!

Whenever $ comes up people get jealous. How do you deal with that? The inequalities of a group?

I love this idea! But there's a but... I'm a mother of 2 autistic children and A LOT of people are not understanding and are very judgmental. So making friends with nerotypical children is hard.

My daughter's friend is autistic. I've welcomed her mom over while her daughter is here. Maybe play dates with other kids and moms?
