Prime Minister Marape and Coalition Partners prioritise law and order

Prime Minister Hon. James Marape, along with Coalition partners, swiftly addressed the government's priorities after the parliamentary session of Thursday, September 12, 2024. During a press conference, the Prime Minister emphasised the urgency of tackling law and order, positioning it at the top of their agenda.
The Coalition meeting was held immediately after the defeating the vote-of-no-confidence.

Whilst Mr. Paraka has been found guilty with regards to this case, everyone else that are tied to the payments to Mr. Paraka must be investigated as well.

Congratulations PMJM! Sir, we need at minimum a full term of stability (ideally 2 full terms ). To borrow a quote “ The economy pays the bills, not politics” Sir set politics aside…call a truce…be gracious …find common ground and consensus from the opposition to move forward together. We are on the eve of our 50th year of nationhood and there is still much to do. Sir for Section 145 , purely pragmatic , apolitical suggestion …I think if a NGE gives overwhelming majority to a party, the PM should be allowed to serve a full term. If the NGE result is a Coalition…then it can be tested at a certain point with prescribed objective economic/ social indicators agreed upon prior to monitor performance from day 1 of office.
