  • Bali's Day of Silence (Nyepi) is a Hindu tradition observed as the traditional New Year according to the Balinese Saka calendar. I was lucky enough to be in Bali for Silent Day (Nyepi) and thought I would share what happens in the lead up and during the day itself (for tourists).

I think that’s so cool, taking a day of silence from activities and just being in a room with your friends so that you can share your stories with one another. Real joy is created when we carve out time like this.
