It is in the medium range if going by your hierarchy. If it was top it would be smaller like the cassette and 5k plus. I understand you love this bag it is still a everyday bag
It lingers between the top and middle. Size doesn't always equate to being "better" or higher on the hierarchy. Are you talking about the Cassette from BV? If so that is a very weird comparison because this is an LV bag... not a BV bag. Plus a Cassette is massive (even if the contents fit generally the same). The chain Cassette is $5000+ but it a) comes from a different brand b) is full leather and c) the Cassette is bigger in almost every area of L-W-H compared to the Dauphine. Have you ever actually tried these bags on in person or own any of them? What a strange comparison

There is no basic LV bag. They are too expensive for that label.
