Hey man. Great video loved the edit. I have a 2007 forester and thinking about a lift. Glad I found your channel. Liked and subbed as you do. Keep up the awesome content!
@TheCreateOutdoors unfortunately the impreza size of 205/55/16 has pretty much nothing for an all terrain replacement. Thinking of going to a 15" with a 38 offset so I can do a 205/65 or 205/70 in 15 that way it will be close to the same diameter, just more rubber :-)
@@umustbbornagainActs2-38 Yeah my comment wasn't so much that you can't do it just that if you plan on a bigger size expect to do some clearancing in t your wheel wells. that's all.
Just stumbled across your channel. Looking forward to an update on handling & clearance. ps Might want to invest in a cheap clip on shop light to help you see better & so we can see what your doing & talking about.
CV boots ripping is usually only due to an installation error, it’s really only a big problem when you get to 3” and above. The only downsides I’ve found are rubbing when turning (which is easy to fix) and rear positive camber. I have rear camber bolts installed from my old lift kit but it isn’t enough to get the wheels to zero or into the negatives, it still has about 2 degrees of camber.
I was trying to swap the spacer out without disconnecting the strut entirely, so they were already disconnected when I went to do the bottom. Sure, I could have put a nut back on top first.
this forester looks mint, ive picked up a 2003 and this is inspiring me for ideas, well done
Glad I could inspire you! Good luck with your Forester!

Love it! The Subie is coming along. Time to do an adventure video of you trying out the newfound ground clearance.
Most definitely
Good video. I need to post my forester and some the removal process
I have that EXACT 2005 silver grey metallic 2 tone forester. What an absolute beast.
Cool stuff! The car really looks good with a lift!
Thanks!
Working on lifting my 06 impreza osw. My 1st subaru. What size wheel and tire are you running?
215/70R/16s. Any tire larger than stock will rub no matter the lift.

Nah it was just poor color grading on my part, I did use lights
What is your total ground clearance
With tires it's about 11"
Regards, I bought a '98 Subaru Forester. I would like you to help me. I want to know why you cut the stabilizer bar link
For the 2” lift, you can’t install the lift without disconnecting the rear sway bar. Unfortunately, my end links were well beyond removing correctly.
Hey have you noticed many downsides to the lift? Heard of people having issues with CV Axles Boots ripping, wondered if you had that or anything else

at min 6 if u leave the top bolts on then u disassemble first the bottom knucle it will be easier.

@@TheCreateOutdoors yeah I saw that part. I'm sure u knew it, it was just me thinking out loud. loved the video btw
@@francescoilliano4761 all good my dude! Glad you enjoyed it!
This is one heck of an SG🥵❤️
Thank you! I have a lot more plans for it coming soon.
@@TheCreateOutdoors stoked to see!
How did you mount the Hella Lights? Thank you!
For the fronts I built a custom light bracket, for the top they are mounted straight to the roof rack! I have a video from last year on it!
SO SICK!
Tank you guys for this video
looks good
Perdón, usted no tenía una brocha o algo parecido, para almenos limpiar la pieza existente (clean).
Honestly abs wire replacement are about as much of a pain in the ass as the suspension
Oh I 100% agree.
you look/sound like a subaru guy
Perfect I'll fit right in
