    Love it! The Subie is coming along. Time to do an adventure video of you trying out the newfound ground clearance.

    Working on lifting my 06 impreza osw. My 1st subaru. What size wheel and tire are you running?

    • @TheCreateOutdoors
      @TheCreateOutdoors  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      215/70R/16s. Any tire larger than stock will rub no matter the lift.

    • @umustbbornagainActs2-38
      @umustbbornagainActs2-38 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @TheCreateOutdoors unfortunately the impreza size of 205/55/16 has pretty much nothing for an all terrain replacement. Thinking of going to a 15" with a 38 offset so I can do a 205/65 or 205/70 in 15 that way it will be close to the same diameter, just more rubber :-)

      @@umustbbornagainActs2-38 Yeah my comment wasn't so much that you can't do it just that if you plan on a bigger size expect to do some clearancing in t your wheel wells. that's all.

    Just stumbled across your channel. Looking forward to an update on handling & clearance.
    ps
    Might want to invest in a cheap clip on shop light to help you see better & so we can see what your doing & talking about.

    Regards, I bought a '98 Subaru Forester. I would like you to help me. I want to know why you cut the stabilizer bar link

    • @TheCreateOutdoors
      @TheCreateOutdoors  ปีที่แล้ว

      For the 2” lift, you can’t install the lift without disconnecting the rear sway bar. Unfortunately, my end links were well beyond removing correctly.

  • @pnw8836

    Hey have you noticed many downsides to the lift? Heard of people having issues with CV Axles Boots ripping, wondered if you had that or anything else

    • @TheCreateOutdoors
      @TheCreateOutdoors  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      CV boots ripping is usually only due to an installation error, it’s really only a big problem when you get to 3” and above.
      The only downsides I’ve found are rubbing when turning (which is easy to fix) and rear positive camber. I have rear camber bolts installed from my old lift kit but it isn’t enough to get the wheels to zero or into the negatives, it still has about 2 degrees of camber.

    @francescoilliano4761 ปีที่แล้ว

    at min 6 if u leave the top bolts on then u disassemble first the bottom knucle it will be easier.

    • @TheCreateOutdoors
      @TheCreateOutdoors  ปีที่แล้ว

      I was trying to swap the spacer out without disconnecting the strut entirely, so they were already disconnected when I went to do the bottom. Sure, I could have put a nut back on top first.

    • @TheCreateOutdoors

      For the fronts I built a custom light bracket, for the top they are mounted straight to the roof rack! I have a video from last year on it!
