They totally blocked me out of my saved game on Avatar Frontiers Of Pandora it’s forcing me to buy the dlc in order to play my saved game smh I was 90% through the campaign too
SOLUTION: I followed all the steps, but I couldn't get it to work, so I guessed either I missed a step or there was a step missing. There is one additional step to be undertaken: if you turn cloud save back on without loading up the complete save game first (which dates 2022), Uplay will generate the most recent cloud save it has anyway because it's probably more recent than the complete save. Meaning just replacing the save file with cloud save turned off isn't enough: the file has to be loaded up so that it is overwritten, after which it becomes more recent than the cloud save. Only then will Uplay recognise the local save and ask you if you want that one to become the new cloud save. So... Here is what you do: after you've copied the complete save file to your folder (I've also replaced the backup save file just to be sure), start up the game WITHOUT turning cloud save back on. The game will load up the new completed save aboard Paladin, and you'll see the SMI showing red question marks, since the Blacklist is over. Now to be sure, just head over to Charlie's or something, talk to him about your gear and then exit, so that the game saves. Then exit to desktop (Might not be necessary, but can't hurt to save). AND NOW you check the box with cloud save back on in Uplay. Now when you start up the game, it will indeed ask you if you want to use your local save game for cloud saving or the cloud save Uplay has. Select the local one (should have the date and time when you first loaded the complete save, so probably this day a couple minutes ago), and then it will boot up the game with the new save. Enjoy! You can now play all missions with complete gear and ulc, or go into options and restart the game, after which you'll have unlocked ulc once you're aboard Paladin. Thanks for the save file and all the effort BioAlpha, I appreciate it alot! This game is so buttery smooth and detailed, and having all 4E missions and weapons means we get ALL the buttery smooth gameplay and attention to detail.
One question, at 01:36 you said "launch splinter cell and select local save file." How did you select it? It gives no option to select, just says "press any key". I followed the instructions and when I launched the game, it kinda overwrites the save and gave me the old one with no changes. Help?
9 months late, but on the off-chance you haven't found the solution yet, you only need to select that option if it shows up. It didn't work at first for me, but that was because I missed a step at the end. Make sure you do the *exact* steps shown, including restarting Uplay after disabling the cloud save sync, and re-enabling cloud save sync before you launch the game, the latter of which being the step I missed (and likely one that you may have missed too).
Maybe I'm complete shit at following instructions, but this didn't do anything. From the video and the update in the description, each time I boot up the game I get my save file
Weirdly I've tried this multiple times on my steam copy, I can't get the unlockables that are locked back even with this, it doesn't seem to take, I followed the tutorial.

\savegames\\449\ Is the location for the Steam Version Save file, put all the files in there and remove your own. Hope this helps. But yes you go to the Ubisoft Folder, just go into the 449 Folder.
This commentary resolved my exact doubt I had with the pinned message, because I didn't understand which files I had to paste exactly on the 449 folder. You would have to replay each mission individually, i recommend beating the campaign then worrying about the Save File. And i have yet to play Conviction all the way through yet but i could do a walkthrough with that. Game is fun from what i played so far. I Liked it enough to buy it on PC lol.

try checking the location where uplay saves it? you could always try just putting the save file in there and see if it loads it too. Just keep Cloud Saving disabled for the game temporarily.

Welcome to SC! I would recommend following this guide early if you choose to do it at all, since otherwise you'll lose all of your unique progress when you follow it for the DLC. The DLC profile by default has 100% completed the game on the hardest difficulty, but you're able to adjust the controls & settings to your liking (I recommend doing this first since they may feel unnatural at first), and then you can reset the story from the pause menu when on the plane. It'll be just like playing from the very beginning, only with all of the DLC unlocks active which can make the earlier missions a lot less painful. Plus, of course, you can access the otherwise inaccessible DLC missions.
I have a deluxe version but i dont know if i need a code to activate the yacht mission or what because i did it Like in the video and it just doesnt work for me the mission is not showing on the map i have the Uconnect version :)

I'm not sure how downloading and editing save files work with the PS3, since I use Xbox, but I'm sure you can find tutorials on how to do it online. Good luck!

In the other 2 saves not marked Online save, has everything already unlocked, the only difference is the online MP mode Spies Vs Mercs Online Rank is not maxed out. Also Co op and MP will be gone come September 1st as Ubisoft is shutting down their servers for the game and the DLC along with it will no longer be available. how complete is the campaign and base unlocks?
campaign is fully complete in 2 of the saves , except in the max online rank
